Must specify that you want vegan. - Edit
I have gone here for many years, and had considered it my favorite restaurant in the area before going vegan and early on afterwards. Stopped going after I had some very disappointing noodles (thin, short, mushy, tasted like the worst of gluten free noodles, not real ramen noodles). Came back recently and received the same noodles, and when I pressed the manager they explained that their default noodles, both straight and wavy, are made with egg, and that the mushy noodles I had were their only vegan ones.
Read moreYou will only get these noodles if you very clearly ask for them, otherwise you will receive noodles with egg by default, even when ordering the options that are labeled as vegan (if you read closely, there is an * saying "vegan option available upon request").
When I complained to management they remade my dish with the same vegan noodles prepared slightly better. It was edible, but dramatically disappointing compared to what I had had in the best, especially considering that so many ramen noodles aren't even made with egg in the first place.
Pros: quality of broth and toppings is good
Cons: You have to be very clear that you want it vegan, The vegan noodles are just depressingly soft

Really awful - Edit
Not sure if we went on a bad night or something. Got the tempura appetizer and it was good, but the ramen was legitimately gross and borderline inedible. Got one of each of the two vegan ramen options on the menu and both were bad for different reasons, one of which had what tasted like straight up dishwater for broth. I never leave reviews this low about places that clearly try to be vegan friendly but I sadly really cannot recommend this place. Maybe their meat stuff is good but obviously I have no interest in that. If you want a good vegan ramen, go to Redwhite in Boston or just about anywhere else…
