Bakery with Vegan Cheese

Mixed thoughts because it really depends on the staff. One staff member was really kind and accommodating. They have a separate case with vegan baked goods and although nothing is gf, they do carry gf flour so they can make to order, which he did. You’ll pay an extra 3ILS (25 vs 22), but they can custom make if it’s not too busy.

Another staff member was the complete opposite. He said they don’t carry gf and just turned us away. We told him we were already waiting for our order and he kind of barked at us to pay. I still wanted to order a salad, so he hurried me up and continued to ask me if I paid while I was waiting. I told him I’m still ordering more, so no. No one else was there so I’m not sure what the hurry was. Anyways, the food was good, but the staff needs some training and lack customer service. Except the first guy who was wonderful.

The vegan cheesecake only comes in large size and was the only v dessert they carry, just a heads up.

The gf pastry was still a little raw inside, but the not so nice staff member told us it’s just like that and “it’s been in long enough”.

Pros: V cheese available and custom pastry possible, Salad bar, Aware of cross contamination

Cons: Extra cost for vegan, Possible rude service, Maybe not accommodating dep on staff member
