Probably the best veggie burrito - Edit
We tried the veggie burrito. No cheese, no sour cream. The waitress knew right away we wanted it vegan after saying that. I gotta say, like the other reviews, that is probably the best veggie burrito I've ever had. You can tell it's meant to be complimented with queso but it still stands on its own really well. Vegan queso would push it over the top for sure.

Best Veggie Tacos! - Edit
I had the veg tacos with no dairy and guacamole with house made chips. The corn tortillas were house made as well, and their jalapeño hot sauce... damn! Definitely the best tacos I've had in a while. My partner (not vegan) loved the food too!

Must go if in Ocean Park - Edit
Was staying in Ocean Park and went for dinner. Had the vegan Burrito with no cheese or sour cream. It was amazing! Best vegan burrito I’ve had, possibly? Also ordered the guacamole which was good. They have fresh-squeezed fruit juice options which you can order alone or as a margarita.

Edit: we went back 3 times! It’s that good.

Great food with veggie and vegan options - Edit
We had the quesadillas (veggie). They were excellent. You have to go upstairs for food as the bar is on the main floor.

Great general restaurant, limited vegan restaurant - Edit
It has a bar on the first floor as soon as you walk in you’ll see there’s good looking waitresses serving alcohol at the bar. Someone from upstairs will come downstairs and pick you up from the waiting entrance. They will bring you upstairs to the more scenic area that has and do uses rustic traditional Mexican designs. It’s definitely a lot of great I candy And it’s very alluring. You can see the kitchen right there within a walking distance and see them making the food right in front of you fresh. We will see that they move very quickly and have a lot of servers. The items on the menu are extremely limited because they don’t even really acknowledge a vegan menu or even a vegan section of the menu. If you want to eat something vegan, you have to ask And depending on the server, you might have to explain what vegan means, so it’s best that you describe to them what you don’t want in the fall and ask them to make a suggestion for you. I simply had a boring burrito with corn and different vegetables in it. I asked for beans on the side and they didn’t bring it for me. I found the corn to be particularly tasty but let’s be real, do we really go to a restaurant just to eat corn? So I was not very impressed. Although they did have a very modern payment system where you can pay with Apple Pay you can pay with virtually feel any type of like financial system.

Delicious food! - Edit
This restaurant was busy during dinner time on a Friday. We put our name and group # on a list and after a not-too-long wait were escorted upstairs to our table. I promptly informed the waitress I was vegan and she pointed out the veggie filling could work for a burrito, tacos or tostada (and leaving off sour cream cheese).
Read moreWe started with chips and Pico de gallo, and I opted for the burrito which was a DELICIOUS decision! I would totally come back to have the burrito again. I'd say it is in my "Top 5 best burritos of all time" list (which is saying something; as I am a burrito connoisseur).
Pros: Delicious food, Staff helpful for vegetarian and vegan options

Many vegan choices - Edit
Acapulco is very veg friendly. You can get a burrito, tostada, or tacos with veggie filling. The veggies are cooked on a separate grill from the meat and they include red and yellow bell peppers, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, spinach, eggplant, and mushrooms. This is the only restaurant we ate at twice during our stay because we liked it so much. The atmosphere is relaxed and the waitstaff very kind. When we told them we were vegan they new exactly what it meant. I got lime Jarritos, but my wife says the pineapple margarita is delicious. Be sure to order without cheese or sour cream.
