I had a great experience! - Edit
I had the Wholesome Chimi Salad, the Tamarindo and Dates Juice and the Fresh Guacamole Toast (soooo yummy!!!!. The food was great, just the perfect amount of seasoning. The service couldn't be better!!! They do open on Saturdays 11am-3pm because we came on a Saturday. Ethical, transparent, it shows they love doing this! Definitely recommend it!

I wish it was Ethical. To make it ethical, it would have to be a 100% vegan restaurant, which they can still do if they truly do care about ethics. But owners AND CLIENTS might lack awareness, they probably dont know that when they offer animal exploitation aka vegetarian options aka forced impregnated cows for their milk and oppressed & enslaved hens for their stolen eggs, and robbing the bees' food which is their honey (aka bee vomit). BERLINGERI ISNT AN ETHICAL RESTAURANT (unless they commit to changing to 100% Plant🌱Based food). Vegetarianism = animal abuse which isnt ethical. 🤷🏽♂️🥺💔

Dont get me wrong. I cant wait to visit them & eat their delicious food. And i will get their ethical food options which are only the 🌱plant-based ones. I dont mean to say all their business is unethical, only the parts that include animal slavery & oppression/lacto-vegetarian and ovo-vegetarian.

Best vegan food in San Juan - Edit
LOVED this place. Super fresh, healthy, almost macrobiotic type food. It's entirely vegan except the gyro and one other item that come with a yogurt sauce. We got the soup of the day (an incredible warm puréed soup made with pumpkin, plantain, and malanga), the tacos with walnut-based molido, the jibaro bowl, and the prisma salad. The "magic tofu" that comes as an option on the salad and bowl is fantastic. The housemade seitan is also outstanding. We loved the tacos too. Also appreciated a wide selection of kombucha flavors from Karibe kombucha. The only disappointing part is the limited hours. They close at 3 PM Monday to Friday and are closed completely on the weekends.

Fresh healthy bowls - Edit
The restaurant is hidden at the end of a parking lot. There is a nice covered patio, you can eat outside, even if it’s raining. I had the jibaro bowl which was fresh and delicious with crispy smoked tofu. I also had the carrot cake which was very good.

Diverse food experience and yes, tasty! - Edit
Excellent variety of food and great ambience. A little on the expensive side but delicious! Drinks were fresh and had character. Not your run of the mill “vegan” place. All of us enjoyed the food including kids.

Hidden gem - Edit
This place is so low key, you have to know that it exists or you'd never find it, and if you DID stumble upon it (it's entrance is at the back of a parking lot) nothing advertises that it's all vegan, but it is, and it was hopping with online orders, so I guess they're doing good without the advertising! The meal was delicious, the vegan brownie was nothing to write home about. Nice atmosphere and staff!

The food was fresh and delicious. I throughly enjoyed the Piccadillo Cubano . The dressing on the salad meshed all the flavor profiles together.

HIGHLY recommended! - Edit
Food was tasty and fresh and healthful. Standouts were the soup, tacos with molido (walnut/lentil/mushroom meat), beans, maduros, and salad. Super friendly people, comfortable atmosphere. Located behind the post office. Suggest checking FB for updated hours.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere - Edit
Had a great vegan lunch at this spot, which has a nice vibe both in terms of the setting inside and out, as well as the service. We shared the babaganoush w/ pita appetizer (which I think was a special of the day - very flavorful but a bit seedy), and shared the Vegan Tacos (the slaw adds a nice crunch and love a fresh corn tortilla) and Piccadillo Cubano (delish “veggie ground no meat” which is made from lentils, walnuts and local mushrooms; rice and beans were on point and plantains cooked to perfection). Finished off our meal with the vegan brownie, which was okay (a bit cakey and slightly dry) but would skip next time. All in all great food and a definite spot for vegans to visit when in San Juan!

Great Find in San Juan - Edit
We stopped in for a late lunch.
Read moreVegetarian options on Puerto Rico are really hard to find. This sweet little vegan restaurant had great food, fair prices, friendly staff and a peaceful vibe.
You order at the counter and they bring your meal to your table. We each had the Jibaro bowl with seitan. They came with brown rice, beans, small salad with tasty dressing and some other vegetable sides. I had the guanabana lime juice. Very refreshing.
We grabbed a vegan brownie for later, which was melt in your mouth delicious. Also picked up some banana nut bread and Meyer lemon cake for our flight north the next day.
We definitely plan to return.
Note that the hours are 11 am to 3 pm.
It is a little tricky to find, located in the back of a parking lot.
Pros: All the food, Friendly service , Ambience

Everything here was delicious! Service is a little slow so I recommend ordering ahead online. We went here twice in 4 days and our favourite was the cubano sandwich. The juices and lemonades are also fantastic. Great outdoor seating too.

Yummy - Edit
A lot of vegan options. The Cubano sandwich was amazing. My daughter had the veggie burger which she enjoyed. The soup of the day (black bean, potato, tortilla) was pretty good. The rice and beans side was also good. The guanabana and limón juice was delicious and so was the lime crumble cake. There was a wait of about 25 minutes for our to go order. There was a sign posted saying that there would be a waitm we didn't mind. The food was worth it!

You’ll be back - Edit
If you’re vacationing make sure you visit this place before your last day so you can come back more than once! It isn’t open on weekends. These are so many yummy things on the menu you’ll want to try them all. The menu is accessed via qr, so bring your phone. Make sure to check all tabs not just the menu tab. There are other items under daily specials that you won’t find under the regular menu. The food is fresh and delicious but soooo filling!

Delicious - Edit
Food is very tasty and portions are very good. I've tried several things in the menu and all have been delicious. The only thing to better is the labeling of the food. Not everything is marked as vegan/non-vegan on their online menu or delivery apps. Always ask before ordering to make sure the sauces, dressings and bread are vegan!

Cons: Vegan/non vegan items are not clearly labeled.
