Memories of Portland, Oregon

Innovative, fresh, amazing. Similar to some of the best cafes in hippest parts of Northwest u.s., vegatarian or otherwise. Met two sets of locals inside who said it's the best in the city. Chef stopped what he was doing to come out and explain the menu for us. Calm, comfortable atmosphere.

Pros: Quality of food, Selection of food, Customer service

Cons: A tiny bit tricky to find. Behind a car wash.

Hidden gem

There's a chalk board by the road, and it's thanks to this the we found it. It's slightly tucked away behind a car wash, but well worth searching out. You choose a main and two sides to go with it (costs about $10 to $12 for a main and two sides) with a great choice of vegan or vegetarian dishes. Both dishes we had were superb, easily the best we've had so far in Puerto Rico.
