Delicious - Edit
I had wanted to order the stirfried noodle dishes, but was informed the chef who cooks those dishes wasn't there today. I think $22 is quite expensive for a stirfry noodle dish anyway, considering it's cash only, and in an inexpensive outer suburb.
Read moreThere were heaps of other dishes I wanted to try, so I got the hu tieu noodle soup, which was quite good, lots of different types of fake meat, and really nice chewy noodles. The broth wasn't as delicate and flavourful as I've had before. The serving was HUGE and I regretted not having brought my reusable container with me, as I only managed to eat just over half of it.
I also got the bi cuon rice paper rolls, which is filled with fried tofu strips and fried vermicilli noodles, it was ok, quite dry. I didn't like that they served the rice paper rolls in a takeaway container even though I was eating in.
I'm still keen to go back and try the rest of the menu. It's a shame that anything that has yellow noodles is in fact real egg noodles, the menu is not clearly marked as to what is vegan and what is vegetarian.

- Stirfried Hu Tieu noodles: YUM! The tofu they use is so fresh and tasty, and the sauce is so good, but wish there was more of it.
- Banh canh noodle soup: very nice delicate broth, and love the noodles.
- Pawpaw goi: mediocre flavour and texture, had much better elsewhere
- Bun Hue (Hue Noodle Soup): Incredibly spicy, better once added greens in, lots of fake meats (most delish)
- Broken rice (com tam): ok, egg is quite meaty and dense, didn't have pork, instead a fried tofu skin/spongy bland thing, fried noodles ok, not tasty; v.tasty soup, parsnip taste?

Pros: huge servings - bring containers
Cons: cash only, vegan and vegetarian not differentiated, rice paper rolls served in disposable container
