Probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Asheville

Really good staples like bangain barta and chana masala. There's a tomato based curry with tofu and peas that's really good. Very high end white table cloth setting but the vegan/vegetarian options aren't actually that expensive for a restaurant in Asheville. Curries are filling and extra rice is free.

Excellent Indian food

This is an upscale Indian restaurant with many vegetarian and vegan options. The menu denotes vegan options with a V in addition to a separate vegetarian section. There are many choices including appetizers, entrees, and even dessert. They also serve cocktails, beer, and wine. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Clearly labeled vegan options, Friendly staff

Excellent

You get what you pay for here. The food is on par with fine Indian restaurants in a major cities. They have a huge list of vegan options that are well marked along with gluten-free, non-dairy (but not vegan) and contains nuts.

Pros: High quality., Friendly host and wait staff., Ragda Patties

Cons: Limited drink options if you don't like alcohol.

Great Indian food

There is a sweet & sour cauliflower appetizer that is delicious, it’s called the Gobi Manchurian. You can customize your spice level but from my experience this has been pretty inconsistent. Their vegan options are great but so far the okra curry dish is my favorite.
