All out of vegan items - Edit

This is part of a chain of elegant bakeries with a bunch of branches throughout NYC. The venue is quite attractive--but when I visited today, they told me that they had nothing that was vegan. The pleasant counterperson told me that they sometimes have vegan croissants, but did not suggest that this they typically have vegan croissants or that one could expect that they would have them, nor does their online menu indicate that vegan items are standard here.

Cons: There was nothing vegan when I visited, and nothing vegan listed on their online menu

Finally found a vegan pain at chocolate - Edit

Incredible Italian bakery, not vegan but a nice vegan selection, 4 types of croissant chocolate cake, pain au chocolate, and more coming. Opened two weeks ago. I tried their blackberry jam croissant and pain au chocolate. One of the best I ever had.
