Plant-based restaurant offering a menu that blends Mediterranean soul with a modern edge. Mornings feature a brunch line-up including the “Avit Breakfast” with fluffy toasted brioche, scrambled tofu, vegan bacon, and avocado, Maple French toast topped with strawberries, Chantilly cream, and basil. For something in between brunch and lunch try the crispy clubhouse sandwich or the juicy panino with ch*cken, bacon, as well signature pink sauce. Dinner includes starters like beef tomato tartar and mushroom calamari fritti, hearty mains like bucatini bacciatore, pepper steak, or the famous truffle cheeseburger with “f*cking fries.” Every dish is made in-house, finished with tasty sriracha, lemon mayo, or Avit’s infamous pink sauce. Pair it all with vegan wines or craft cocktails, to enhance the dining experience. Specialty coffee drinks are with oat, soy, or pea milk. Open Mon-Wed 10:00am-10:00pm, Thu-Fri 10:00am-11:00pm, Sat 10:00am-12:00am, Sun 1:00pm-10:00pm.

Best vegan spot in Glyfada - Edit
Avit to me is a quality vegan place where I know that most of their recipes are fresh and made from scratch . I appreciate the fact that in a society where bussiness owners are trying to "cut corners" to make their lives easier , Avit's owners take their time to find the best solution for the environment and constantly provide us with fresh products . The place is always super clean , as well as the toilets (which I m always dreading to visit in other coffee places) they use reusable solutions everywhere they can and of course the food is super tasty and satisfying to the eyes 😊 some of the portions are gigantic which I m going to add this to the positive of course . The stuff and chefs are always friendly , smiling and humble . It is also amazing to see such young people to take initiative to create something like this with so much daily effort !

Such a lovely restaurant! Open all day so perfect for brunch, lunch and/or dinner. I was in Glyfada with my boyfriend for almost a week and we went to AVIT nearly every day, trying everything on the menu. The avocado and mushroom toasts were my favorite! The staff is also incredibly friendly and the service is stunning. The restaurant has a beautiful and cozy decor and great music, a definite must go.

Read moreJust a 3 minute walk from the Tram, we were on our way back from the beach and we couldn’t have been happier to find this gem! The owner of Bamboo Vegan Market (excellent choice in City Center - great items for take away) raves about AVIT and it did not disappoint!
The ingredients were of exceedingly high quality, the portions were very large, the value was incredible, the dishes were creative while also being familiar (a perfect combination!), the Taf coffee was amazing and the owners (so generous with their time) were genuine! I can’t say enough good about AVIT! After our first bites, we spent most of the time that we weren’t connecting with the owner, trying to plan the rest of our visit in Athens to maximize the number of times we could return to this restaurant before we leave.
Owners are very committed to sustainability, from the water pitchers made from bamboo to the discount they offer to patrons who bring their own plates and cups.

Read moreThe burgers are massive and absolutely delicious. Every other food I've tried has been very very tasty too. Apart from what's on the menu, they offer different foods each day, which are great, creative and healthy. The desserts are awesome too.
The people are the nicest. The place has a chill vibe, and it feels like you're going to visit friends.
The place is very eco-friendly too, which is a big plus.

One of the Best Burgers I've Ever Had - Edit
Avit is the newest vegan place in the Athens area, and it's well worth the rather long trip to Glyfada. It's very clean, and from what I saw it was a non-smoking environment as well.
Read moreThe menu is not too extensive, which is usually a good thing because it allows for the dishes to be perfected. This was certainly the case with the outstanding burgers we had here. I can only think of one other place where I had such a spectacular burger. We were also told that aside from the yellow cheese, absolutely everything in the burger (the bun, the STUFFED patty) was made in-house.
It may not be the cheapest place in Athens, but the delicious burgers were worth every cent!

We had the quiche, spinach pie and the burger with black truffle mayo. They were all great! The truffle mayo was really good and not overpowering. Fries were crispy and thick. Yum! The decor is really good, especially the bathroom faucet!

This was an amazing gastronomic trip! If you're not a vegan you may become after you taste the marvellous homemade yoghurt with granola or the biggest and most tasty vegan burger in the the whole world, I can tell! Don't forget to taste single-origine espresso or filter coffee from Ethiopia which really makes you want to fly!!

I just loved this place. It's new, its totally vegan and every single thing you try is simply great. The barista, being passionate about coffee makes every cup with love. Food is soooooo tasteful I couldn't stop eating even the vegan burger which is huge! And they also have something new every day. Both owners are very interesting and open people, you will love to have a small talk with them on food, travels or anything vegan!

AVIT is an amazing place to go! The food tastes so great, you realize the difference because they do everything homemade! Homemade bread, ketchup, mayo, cheese, yoghurt,...! Really passionate people!
