So good, I had to go back! - Edit
I had the vegan sausage muffin and the mushroom toast, as well as the smoked Maple sage latte. I stopped in for to have the heated one morning and decided to get the mushroom toast to go to have for lunch. It was so amazingly good that I went straight back the next day! In particular, the was incredible, and even if you didn't eat them fresh they were still crispy, and then the combination of the balsamic sauce and the whipped tofu spread was chef's kiss!

Delicious vegan options! - Edit
Vegan friendly with several options to choose from. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious and filling. Plus a vegan apple spice muffin! Several tables to sit inside. Most people did take away so plenty of space to sit. They have non dairy milk for tea too.

Disappointing - Edit
The cafe is popular- every table was full & there was a constant line on a Saturday morning, so maybe other dishes are better. I ordered the mushroom toast. The slice of bread was about 1/4 inch thick. My friend got a sandwich & her slices were almost 1 inch thick. The toast was drenched in too much balsamic & generally very wet with the mushrooms & caramelized onions. The thin bread was completely soaked. The cauliflower grits were nothing like grits- it was just oily, small pieces of cauliflower. The potato seasoning was delicious but they were so oily, could only eat a few. Another friend tried the rancheros but couldn't finish them because the beans just tasted like cinnamon. My friend had the sesame chai & said it was divine. Service was awesome.

Pastries sell out fast - Edit
Not just the vegan ones, but on the weekends especially almost all the pastries are gone by 10 or 11. Good for them, but keep it in mind if you are really feeling a sweet treat. The cafe menu is good but not as robust as the main location around the corner. If you’re going for a smaller dish though, there’s a lot of overlap, and they don’t have the insane waits that the CBD location does.

Yummy vegan burrito - Edit
I had a great burrito although it took quite a while to prepare and I was the only one in there… While I was waiting I overheard the workers talking and the chef asked one of the others if marshmallows were vegan… One of the workers responded "only if you consider gelatin"… And then said but "oh no it has egg whites so it's definitely not vegan". But they seemed to disregard the gelatin. Gelatin is definitely not vegan people.😝

Go-to breakfast in NOLA - Edit
Luckily, this cafe was right down the block from our hotel, so we ate here 3 times. Vegan biscuits were out of this world.

Great Vibe - Edit
Had the vegan cauliflower wrap with crunchy chickpeas and a side salad. Everything was fantastic. My partner had the classic burger (smash burger) with crispy potatoes, which he really enjoyed. He said the bun was really soft and tasty.

So good! - Edit
Lovely delicious restaurant with plentiful vegan options as well as omni options. Tried the vegan breakfast sandwich the first day and the vegan pancakes the next, both were great! Coffee and tea drinks were also very good!

🙂↕️ - Edit
trekked out here in the heat of summer and it was SO worth it.
Read moreso many options for baked goods, and several sandwiches, salads, etc. i don't know if god intended for a cheese, egg, and sausage biscuit to be vegan, but i'm glad bearcat did. the peach muffin was gorgeous as well:)
