A non vegan recommended this place & Vietnamese food is my favorite. After asking around, I heard other rave reviews from vegans. On the day I went, they had 2 vegan pastries listed and one that wasn’t listed as vegan but they assured me it was- I got this one, a pandan cake slice. It was okay, very lightly flavored and served very cold (not sure if that’s standard). I liked the texture, kind of gelatinous.
Read moreI also got the savory crepe. Small portion but flavorful. I thought it was weird it came with cheeze as I’ve never had Vietnamese food with cheeze before. It was runny. Came with greens, avocado and traditional dipping sauce. I was all around just kind of confused by this but it tasted fine.
All and all, I will not be rushing back here anytime soon. (Spent $22 but they don’t accept tips, so that included everything) I’ll stick with Van Hahn personally
