Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

Vegan Hyggelig - Edit
Yes, please - fully vegan with a creative and colorful kitchen still rooted in Danish tradition!
Read moreFurthermore a spacious seating area and very friendly and attentive service.
We had different smørrebrød and dessert options accompanied by their juices. All very tasty and nicely decorated!
I deducted one star since the (quite expansive) vegan cheese platter was lacking in variety and we had way better cheese (including blue cheese) elsewhere since then.

Went to Bistro Verde twice in a day - Edit
Bistro Verde is delicious without trying too hard. Each dish is presented beautifully, but they’ve kept the menu simple. The tomato soup was so delicious, I insisted we go back the next day for another bowl. My family loved the vanilla pancakes, the French fries, and the variety of dishes we tried. We frequented Bistro Verde four times during our four day trip. It’s that good. The service was also very good.

Amazing - Edit
Really delicious, high quality, and beautiful food made from real ingredients. The vegan meat and dairy are very impressive. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant looks great. No negatives, one of my favorite places in Copenhagen now. Not overly expensive either.

Typical danish food found here - Edit
We went here after a free walking tour to have lunch. The place is very nice and the service very good. On the menu there are a variety of different types of food including smørrebrød (the typical open sandwich) and danish sweets like the Flødeboller. The smørrebrød were veeery good, good ingredients and flavors combinations. I asked for the plate with the 3 different ones and was very happy to able to eat a vegan version of a typical food from Denmark. The Flødeboller, which is a marshmallow covered in chocolate with a base of biscuit was way too sweet for my taste.

The plant based steak experience! - Edit
Bistro Verde in Copenhagen is a must-visit for all vegan food enthusiasts! As an international flight attendant, I had the pleasure of trying their vegan steak, scalloped potatoes and veggies, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and exceeded my expectations. The friendly and accommodating staff made my dining experience even more special. I highly recommend Bistro Verde to all worldwide travelers and food lovers. It was an absolute delight visiting this vegan haven!

Sehr lecker - Edit

AMAZING food + staff 😍 - Edit
Had suchhhh a good time here! We had the vegan burger with beyond meat 😋 (which was incredible) and the carbonara which was also super tasty! We also had a starter and a dessert which were both delicious. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great too. Considering Copenhagen prices, this place was not as expensive as I expected in comparison to some other places we visited. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed every bite - Edit
This was my highlight of visiting Copenhagen! I was biking around the city with my brother and we decided to stop here for lunch. BEST DECISION EVER. We ordered too much and finished our leftovers before sunset, and came back the next day for more.
Read moreGreat coffee, I had a flat white and the amount of foam was perfect. Very particular about my coffee: no doubt that they put care into it here.
Soup of the season was a carrot peanut bisque. While it sounds intimidating it was such a comforting flavor combination. It tasted a little truffley, had a nice creamy finish, and just a little texture from the peanuts.
Fried oyster mushrooms were amazing. When we came back we ordered two servings because my brother and I liked them so much we couldn't share. The aioli it comes with is perfect too.
Open faced smoked salmon sandwich was heavenly. This was a nice light and bright dish compared to everything else we ordered. Cucumber, lemon, creme fraiche, caviar, and a convincing vegan salmon. Happy that I got to try a danish dish without having to hurt any animals!
Strawberry salad was our least favorite of everything we tried. It sounded really good on the menu but the flavors just didn't click when we got it. It was good, just not compared to the rest of the food. I think my main thing about it was that it wasn't tossed well and they used whole almonds instead of slivered for a salad, making it difficult to eat.
Pasta carbonara: creamy and dreamy! The veggie bacon that they use was so realistic that we had to check back with the staff that it actually was a vegan restaurant! I've made it a mission to try as many mock meat replacements as I can and Libre Foods takes the bacon!!! They import it from Spain and it's not available in most places yet, but I hope it makes its way to California soon because they'll have a lot of happy hungry vegans there. Although not traditional, I love that this pasta came with some baby greens to cut through the creaminess a bit.
The gnocchi had great texture and the sauce was awesome sauce too. Never seen whole almonds in pasta but it worked well, and I will try that back home.
The double trouble cheeseburger, two mock beef patties and that libre bacon... Wow. I'm not much of a burger gal but this one had me reconsidering. The sauce and toppings reminded me of the In n' Out double double (I've never actually tried one but I imagine it'd be like this
Also took some pastries with us and loved them. FYI tiramisu can only be dinein
Pros: DELICIOUS , AMAZING, MUST TRY IN COPENHAGEN
Cons: Kitchen needs time, don't expect a quick meal

Vegan Smørrebrød - Edit
Came for lunch and had two of the open sandwich/ Smørrebrød options; vegan beef and potato bacon. Both were divine! The flavours were exquisite and you couldn’t tell that they were plant based.
