Menu changes quarterly, but usually there is pasta, bowls, traditional smørrebrød and burgers on the menu along with other options. Open Mon-Fri 12:00-21:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-21:00. Breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 10-11:45am only.

Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

Lovely bistro near Nyhavn - Edit
Bistro Verde is a lovely well located bistro that is a few minutes walk from Copenhagen’s Nyhavn. The menu is plant based and had a fairly wide variety of food to choose from. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere inside was very clean and cosy. It was a little bit on the pricey side but I guess standard for Copenhagen prices? We had the guacamole to share at the start, the gnocchi as the main and the raw passionfruit cheesecake for dessert (they ran out of the tiramisu 😭).

We had dinner with friends in November, it was quite good. I tried the vegan steak (for the first time), I didn't love it but it was definitely interesting, I would recommend trying it.

The bistro has a lovely, clean design, well trained staff and a great menu. Prices are in line with the location, and the food was tasty. Following the recommendations here I had the salmon sandwich and it was delicious! Could imagine that the restaurant’s dinner experience is even better than lunch.

Read moreWe have tried their open faced salmon sandwich, which tasted so much like ‘the real deal’ and we can also recommend the ‘steak’ which is so juicy, and is served with a good thick sauce and some sides of green and potatoes🥰
Bistro verde is a amazing place to introduce non-vegan people to the amazing vegan universe.
The only thing we can complain about, is the fact that wine isn’t a option on the menu card (we are not the biggest fans of cocktails in general)🍷

I’ve been to Bistro Verde twice now, and had a fantastic experience both times. The first time I got the vegan salmon open sandwich, and I’ll be honest and say I was a bit concerned when the dish came out since the vegan salmon looked just like a thinly sliced carrot and I thought I was getting ripped off. With the first bite that all turned around. It’s been a long time since I’ve had real salmon, but to the best of my memory the flavor and texture of BV’s recreation is pretty much perfect. Absolutely delicious meal.
Read moreMy second visit I got the vegan steak. This imitation was less of a 1:1 perfect match for non-vegan steak, but still delicious and I enjoyed every bite. The steak itself was on the smaller side but with the accompanying sides I still left well satisfied.
Absolutely recommend to anyone in Copenhagen

The food here is so delicious. I had the melanzane della parmigiana which is one of my favourite dishes of all time and it was so nice I wanted to lick the bowl. I also had the hummus which was delicious too. It's a really nice place, I will definitely return if I'm ever in Copenhagen again.

I went there yesterday and I ordered the Melanzane alla Parmigiana as a starter (very nice, but a bit too small) and the vegan steak as a main dish. The steak’s texture really resembles the meat; however, the taste wasn’t that accurate to me. The greens were crunzy and super nice and the patatoe wedges and sauce were really good. They also had a very nice lemonade called Passion Fruit fiesta. The place is nice; you can seat outside or inside. And the staff is very friendly! The price is a bit too expensive, but it is worth to try for sure!

Bistro Verde have a really exciting menu with new things, besides from some more regular dishes like burgers and bowls. I had some BBQ tofu skewers for starter, the JUICY MARBELS STEAK W/ BERNAISE, WEDGES & GREENS as main dish and tiramisu for dessert.
Read moreThe steak was really nice and innovative, and my favourite. However this dish is rather small for the price, and it needs a bit more bernaisesauce. The starter could be a bit more crispy for my taste. But the tiramisu was unfortunately quite disappointing IMO. The texture of the ladyfingers was way too "breadlike" and dry for my taste. I think they should make it more like a "real" tiramisu, which is possible to make vegan too.
My final verdict: 3,5 out of 5 stars. Worth a visit, but some of the dishes are a bit disappointing.

We had a really lovely waitress who persuaded us to go for the vegan steak and I’m glad she did. Not had anything like this before and the Béarnaise sauce was incredible. Comes with a price tag (but so does the whole of Copenhagen!) but we’d still recommend it.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately they rather disappointed. I ordered an appetizer/side of potato wedges with some basil/herb mayo, and was rather baffled, when they brought out literally five medium sized wedges on a plate. There wasn’t even a whole potato there, and they charge 50,-(!?) Nothing special, taste-wise.

What really pulls them down were the desserts. The cheese cake was directly off-putting and tasted almost rancid and salty. The tiramisu kind of hopeless and bland. Their “home made” tea was apparently a DIY-thing with two slices of ginger root, lemon and three mint leaves…
Price does not match quality, and they unfortunately do resemble the other restaurants in the area.
I expected more, and they need to outsource their dessert-menu…

Had a wonderful lunch of hummus starter, creamy mushroom gnocchi as a main and an out-of-this world tiramisu to finish. Good value for money. Will definitely be back here.

Cozy lil' place with huge potential - Edit
Had a lovely dinner at Bistro Verde the other night. The waitress suggested I order starters while I wait for the main course because they have a small kitchen only and it might take some time. I ordered their chunky guac with nachos and the mushroom gnocchi. I mean, guac is guac and it was great but the highlight was certainly the gnocchi *chef's kiss* I think both the guac and the gnocchi was a bit too much for me personally, I couldn't finish the food and fell into a proper food coma afterwards, but if you share a starter/appetizer or you are hungrier than I was you'll be fine and even have room for dessert 😅
