Creamy Vegan Gelato - Edit
Bobboi's has amazing gelato. I appreciate how they always have creamy gelatos, as vegan options are often only fruit-based. There are two Bobbois in Little Italy, and this location in the food court has a smaller selection than I have seen in their bigger stores. The court today had one creamy flavor (pistachio) and two fruit flavors (dragon lemon and quattroberry). I opted for the pistachio, and it was so creamy and tasty. Bobboi's is definitely one of my favorite gelato spots in San Diego.

I love that they have flavors other than sorbet. When we went they have 4 plant based flavors. We got the dark chocolate (which was like brownie batter 🤤) and pistachio. The guy at the counter said they make it with actually nuts, it was very fresh tasting and it’s not colored green.

Nice open space, vegan gelatos clearly marked. The pistachio is amazing! I really liked that they listed their bases too, in case of allergy.

THE BEST! - Edit
As a vegan, I am SO happy when there are CHOCOLATE vegan options and not just fruity ones when it comes to ice cream/gelato. The vegan flavors offered here are absolutely phenomenal. The dark chocolate just melts in your mouth, and the strawberry tastes so fresh, it even has the seeds in it! I'm also a big fan of the pistachio. Super glad it's open for take-out in these COVID-19 times as well!
