Delicious Food

Soup and a wrap for €11 euro! Soup is always vegan and I had a crispy cauliflower vegan wrap which didn't skimp on the pickled pink onions and the harissa mayo! Highly recommend

Pros: Delicious hearty food

Cons: Oat milk extra 50c

A true Middle East Feast

Vegan options in Ireland are, well, there is a transparent number of them most of the time.
(In non specialised restaurants or pubs) If they have a vegan option, you can mostly choose from a burger, sometimes curry, seldom pizza.

At Brother Hubbard, there are not too many options to choose form either but boy, they deliver.

We enjoyed our evening very much - especially after we discovered that they offer a sharing menu. 😇

Food and drinks were delicious, the service (3 people danced around us 😯) was very friendly and helpful.

Just to be clear: "Sharing menu" does not mean half the food per person. 😉

Will definitely come back.

Too small portion, too less options

We had breakfast here. Unfortunately there were only two vegan options, I had the Baba Ganoush. The taste was good, but the portion was very small for the price. Another downside: very limited, boring and pricy vegan cake and bakery options.
Pro: coffee was great!

Delicious

We had dinner here and the food was absolutely delicious. We basically ordered everything that is vegan and shared. Super flavorful!

Fantastic food

Brilliant flavours and portions. Vegan option to substitute eggs in breakfast was extra veg, which I wasn’t too sure about but was great. The warm hummus tasted as made from scratch and all ingredients were fresh. I’m a coffee snob and they made real good espresso.

Pros: Delicious vegan options , Great coffee

Cons: Lighting was a bit dark , Non-accessible

Vegan Meze

Lovely vegan meze meal. The combination of flavours felt well thought out. The staff here were lovely and the service was very quick. There weren’t a tonne of vegan options on the menu but then again the menu in itself for brunch lunch wasn’t huge so as expected for a cafe catering for multiple dietary choices.

Pros: Delicious , Friendly staff

Great food, good vibes

Great place for a healthy brunch. It also has dishes with meat, so your annoying meat eater friends won't complain that they have to eat vegetarian/vegan food 😅

Pros: Optios for everyone, Friendly staff, Cozy atmosphere

Hipster Haven

Friendly staff, hipster atmosphere, bit too much random spices on avocado toast for me but probably suits a lot of people.

Pros: Vegan options

Its not as cheap as in the description on Happy Cow

Wir hatten uns auf die Preisbewertung auf Happy Cow verlassen, jedoch ist dieses nicht so günstig wie angegeben. Trotzdem war es sehr schön und das Essen sehr lecker.

Pros: Vegan Options, Staff is really friendly, Nice Food

Cons: Expensive, Difficult to understand the menu

Great Middle Eastern food

Great venue for both lunch & dinner (have not been for brunch yet!). Staff are friendly, food is of a very high standard and there is a great atmosphere when the restaurant is busy (it is a big space). For dinner last night we went for the shared Middle Eastern feast - three courses - a mezza selection, a main & desert. For mains we went for the two vegan options - a delicious cabbage dish & one with dumplings and squash, with a side of potatoes in a tasty tomato sauce. Desert is a selection of 3 deserts - but there was only one vegan desert on the menu. The waiter mentioned this to the chef, who came up with three vegan treats - fresh fruit, a date & chocolate bar & some chocolate mousse. All delicious. Also my mother (non-vegan, in her eighties) has enjoyed lunch here. So, a lovely place, suitable for vegans & non-vegans of all ages!

Pros: Very good vegan options , Tasty food, Friendly & helpful staff

Absolutely Stellar

Brother Hubbard has a diverse and delicious menu that easily caters to vegans and vegetarians. Their staff, albeit a little slow with service, are knowledgeable about vegan options and extremely friendly.
I ordered a soothing pot of Irish breakfast tea to drink and a Sister Sadie’s Mezze Tray with a side of vegan aioli. The tray was packed full of food (and flavor) and was way too big for me to finish. It included falafel, hummus, a veggie salad, flatbread, pickles, and a roasted eggplant. My only complaint is that the eggplant was icy cold, which was a bit off-putting. Otherwise the food was wow-worthy and I wish I'd had room to finish the whole thing.

Pros: Unique menu, Beautiful space

Cons: Slow service

Average

Been to BH a couple of times and it`s average, customer service is really, really, but REALLY bad, specially in the South one (Iv been there a couple of times). The North one is very spacious and really well decorated, lots of plants! A few vegan options.

Filling and delicious

Loved this place! Only had two main vegan options but the avo toast was absolutely amazing and super filling. The actual place was massive and super busy but the food came after two minutes and they seem to have a good system. Defo would come again just for that dish.

Pros: Big portion , Quick, Yummy!!

Cons: Only two vegan options, Busy, Bit expensive

Yum

I’d have given a 5 star review if I could have (but it’s not a 100% vegan place so I can’t). The staff were really nice the venue was lovely and the food... delicious. Went here for brunch and had the vegan lentils on sourdough... very impressed. I look forward to going back.

Nice coffee shop

Staff was great about letting me know what vegan options were. The avo toast was delicious and was very hearty thanks to the addition of lentils. Coffee and tea were also great.

Brunch / breakfast Avo & pepper on toast

Had a tasty vegan avo & pepper on toast breakfast in this New York style cafe. We sat outside on the veranda in their north side location. Staff were helpful & friendly. Would recommend.

Pros: Nice decor

Cons: Vegan cake options limited to oat bar type things

Great coffee, disappointing service & food

I ordered the Vegan Avo & peppers, patatas bravas , hummus, & coffee. I was unlucky enough to get an unfriendly waiter, who also got the order wrong bringing out Avo & Eggs. The Avo & peppers didn’t taste freshly prepared, & tasted bland, and like the patatas , the food was lukewarm at best. The hummus & coffee were very good. Overall I don’t understand why this restaurant is busy.

Pros: ,

Avo and Pepper on Toast

Went in for breakfast and hadn’t realised how much space there was inside. It is a pretty funky cafe and there is plenty of sweets to chose from as well. A few different vegan options on the menu. Had the magnificent avo and pepper on toast, the avocado was mixed w chickpea hummus, lots of green mixed lettuce, tomatoes and sprinkle of paprika, delicious

Pros: A number of vegan options for brunch, Vegan cakes , Nice atmosphere and friendly staff
