Leckere Brote

Nettes Café, einige Brote vegan. Auch eine vegane Nougattorte und Pancakes waren im Angebot. Hafermilch kostet leider 50 Cent extra.

Now expensive and smaller portions, served me cow’s milk!

It’s a beautiful cafe a bit outside from the center. Unfortunately it’s still extra if you have oat milk instead of cow’s milk. Also they served me cows milk even though saying two times I want oat.
They said sorry and didn’t charge it, but I had to taste it first. I am happy they accepted their mistake and weren’t too proud to say they did. If not I’d ended up with cramps back home. Always the struggle, cause now milk goes to waste as well, but that’s why I think it’s super important to double check as a barista.
Food wise the smashed Avo was good, not toasted though and the tomatoes didn’t fit. The salad was delicious. Dressing on the side and smashed Avo well flavoured. Prices are now nearly double since before covid and half the amount - one bread instead of two.

Awesome breakfast!

We enjoyed our breakfast at Café Gretchen. Atmosphere was relaxed & the staff very friendly.

They offer only vegetarian, but of course also vegan choices. I felt like the menu could be labeled a bit more clear tho, but you can of course ask the staff in case of doubt.

I took the "Vegan Dream" breakfast plate and was 100% satisfied. Great variation of components and also a big meal size. Even though a piece carrot cake is part of this plate, I think it's sad that there was no vegan cake as part of the daily cake selection.

Coffee was very tasty!

Pros: Big meal sizes & great variations, Very tasty!

Cons: Extra fee for plant based milk, No vegan cake in the daily selection

Coffee and cake

Nice café with a selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes and cakes.

For my taste, the cakes are a bit too sweet.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. With vegan options such as banana bread, avocado toast, vegan yoghurt with granola, oat capuccino etc.
