Came by for a solo dinner. The place had a queue in front of it the entire time I was there. There are a few options on the menu and many of them are vegan, I had Sichuan aubergine and 2 of the skewers, all very tasty. Unfortunately they don’t do matcha lattes for takeaway so couldn’t try that.

And the Poulet du Sud is our favourite dish, it is so tasty ✨
If you handle spice good, mapo tofu is very good too and the aubergines is quite savoury as well

Read moreThe food at Cantine de Lotus is very good and, while not all the food is vegan, offers a great variety of vegan and vegetarian food. I've been there several times and have always enjoyed the food and experience.
The restaurant itself is quite small but I personally think it is full of character. It is clearly popular and a favourite for many other people.

This tiny restaurant has some nice mock meats, but we found that we were actually most thrilled by the broccoli skewers as a starter that turned out crisp and quite pleasantly surprising in their taste.

And the appetizer-sticks could have been decorated a little more loving.
Nevertheless a great recommendable place!

We were famished so I didn’t take any pictures of the food, but I ordered the tofu dish and my husband ordered the poulet végétal façon mariné au sud (the Sunday menu is limited but there are about four main options).

Cantine de lotus is that kind of restaurant where you want to go once in a while, to try another dish on the menu !

Everything is tasty, and I've never been disappointed.
I also really like the starter skewers, like the fried tteokbokki or vegetables, that you can enjoy and share with friends.
Service is fast but I recommend to go early to avoid queuing outside.
Pros: Reasonnable prices
Cons: Go early or you may have to queue for a bit, I wish they had vegan desserts besides mochis

My partner and I have been going to Cantine de Lotus for over two years now and it's one of our favorite vegan restaurant. The menu offers a lot of options and all the food we tried is delicious and original. Our favorites are the Bao "poulet", the "canard larqué" and the amazing matcha latte. The staff is also extremely kind and we're always happy to see them. The place can be quickly crowded so I'd recommend going there as soon as it opens. The service is quick and efficient though, so if you don't mind standing outside a bit, it's worth waiting for it.
