Lacks attention to detail - Edit
Ordered the vegan nachos which came out with real cheese. GF ordered tacos and they completely forgot her order. I will say that the staff made things right by comping the nachos. They just need to ensure they’re paying attention when taking orders.

SO good - Edit
We had a great dinner at Chela de playa. It was so good. We had onion rings, cauliflower tacos and gorditas. All were delicious!! The cauliflower tacos were the BEST I’ve ever had!! Everything was incredible!

Ultimate vegan snacking - Edit
Great little bar near the beach that has vegan options! Tasty appetizers like the mini Gordian, chips and guacamole, fried cauliflower, and onion rings. Really, oily, though, my stomach because the ExxonMobil Valdez oil spill.

The blandest meal I had in Playa - Edit
Nothing about Chela de Playa was bad necessarily, it just lacked flavour and wasn’t anything special. I really appreciate them having vegan options, but make sure you double check when ordering as some of the labeling between vegan and vegetarian is confusing.

Porciones muy pequeñas - Edit
El local tiene opciones veganas pero son solo las entradas que suelen ser demasiado pequeñas. Es rico, pero ninguna maravilla. Salvador.

Bar with Vegan Snacks - Edit
The food is really delicious but very small portions. We took the guacamole with nachos and the cauliflower and mushroom tacos. They have separate vegan menu so ask the staff for vegan options.
