Really good vietnamese food. For me a vegan restaurant is even more authentic and better, if the staff is also vegan. The girls at the restaurant are true vegans. They are so friendly and you really can feel how passionate they are about what they are doing. We really enjoyed our dinner, lunch and breakfast there. They are also offering cooking classes. Unfortunately I found it out when I already left Hoi An. That would have been such an amazing experience. The smoothie bowl was also the best one I have eaten in my 2 months in Asia. It was so creamy and tasted delicious. You have to look at their Instagram profile. They post so cool staff and even a video where they bought living fish on the market and let them free in the river/sea 😭😍 I would only come back to Hoi An because of that restaurant😍

A roller coaster experience - Edit
We went there after the Chickpea Eatery in Da Nang didn't have the cheese platter and we really wanted to try it. Big mistake.
Read moreIt had six pieces of cheese, five pesto pieces and one black garlic piece, hummus, some more pesto a bit of stale bread cucumber half a mango and a few slices of dragon fruit. For the price i was expecting a bit more cheese, not only that but also a bit more variety. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress she explained that their cheese is cheaper than that of competitors and ignored the issue that if they have at least three different types I want to try them and not have almost exclusively a single type. The way she handled the issue was infuriating and upsetting.
Admittedly the rest of the food was good. The best vegan chicken I have ever had even outside of Vietnam. So if you do go there and consider trying the cheese; don't, take four portions of rice with chicken instead. Its cheaper and will make you happier.
Oh and I forgot to mention the slow service.....

1000% Vegan and lovely - Edit
This is the only place I could find in Hoi An that was completely and 100% vegan (the other ones always offered items with milk or eggs). I went here every single day during my one week stay in this area of Hoi Ân and got to try a lot of the menu. The top one for me was the vietnamese pancake. It was filling and delicious. The fried spring rolls also deserve 5 stars. Among the top items is also the You are my Sunshine smoothie bowl, it was so fresh and and perfect for breakfast.
Read moreI have to comment on the amazing staff. These ladies always welcomed me with a smile and answered every question I had. They even told me how to eat the vietnamese pancake. I love the fact that they have the garden right there as part of the restaurant and that they use ingredients from it.
Ps I don't think it's on the menu but they have vegan cheesecake inside for sale.

Located in Hoi An ancient town, down a small alleyway, this cutest restaurant is full of kindness and friendly faces. The food is absolutely amazing. Incredibly delicious. And the staff make everything perfect! They are so helpful, advising you the best way to eat things if you’re not quite sure. Had the crispy spring rolls and they showed me how to make it into a rice paper roll it was fabulous! Best food.

A gorgeous little restaurant tucked away off the Main Street in Hoi An, fully vegan Vietnamese/fusion menu with lots of delicious options, can recommend the bao buns and Buddha bowl! Staff are very friendly and passionate, I went multiple times as I enjoyed it so much!

The food is good. Morning glory the best we've had in Vietnam. Other dishes like springrolls, pasta pesto and bahn mi are just good, but the peanut sauce is amazing! Staff really friendly, would recommend to go here for dinner! Just maybe check if they have everything because a lot of things weren't there when we were here the first time, which was a little disappointing but solved really well by the nice staff :)

The place is in a magical house in the middle of Hoi An, the whole atmosphere is just good and pleasant, there is a great variety of dishes and everything is delicious and fresh. The staff of the place is an amazing and nice family, just a pleasure to be there. It is highly recommended!

Delicious food and good variety. They have vegan versions of typical Vietnamese food.
Read moreWe tried the vietnamese pancakes, the summer rolls and the spring roll noodles. Everything was very tasty. The prices are very affordable and the staff is very welcoming.
The only "bad thing" is that it was a bit hard to find. Google maps doesn't show the street where the restaurant is located, but the staff told us they were working on a sign to put on the main street.

Best vegan restaurant I’ve been to in Vietnam - Edit
I litterally fell in love with Chickpea even before I got the chance to visit the restaurant and taste almost everything on their menu. The food is not only surprisingly tasty but also highly nutritious. I really cant pick my favorite cuz everthing I had was delicious, from vegan burger to fresh vegan rolls to vegan cheesecake (their cheesecake is really a must-eat when you are there). Thank you so much, Chickpea team for a wonderful vegan experience. I’ll come back soon.
