I’ve always wanted to have a Japanese omelette. Then I went plant based. So finding a vegan version was so tough to find. Then I happen to stop at the wrong station to go for ramen and then remembered the Hello Kitty exhibit was close by. So I turned around to head that way. What caught my eye was that Choice advertises being fully vegan. So when I saw the word “Vegan” in English, it peaked my interest as I forgot that this place was in the area. Mostly since I made a mistake but turned out to be a blessing in disguise. So I noted Choices and went on my way to the Hello Kitty Art Exhibit.
When I was done, I went straight back and abandoned my idea to go to that ramen place I originally planned. They had a menu outside for dinner which helped because I originally stopped by and checked the menu outside during lunch time so I got an idea what I wanted and went in. Wasn’t sure if I was early thinking they reopen at 5pm. I think I was wrong again and they just change the menu to dinner items.
Anyways… to the food. Japanese Omelette, was good. Flavor was light, I could have enjoyed a little spice but this was good too. Just all around great.
Next I got the pancake 🥞
With maple syrup and boy it brought back some memories from the past. Being a kid on a weekend and dad making pancakes. This make me super happy. Not only was I walking back to the hotel with a ton of Hello Kitty items from the exhibit but my taste buds were happy. Or maybe that was the sugar from the maple syrup??? Lol 😂
I really enjoyed this place. Someone sitting near by me got the pizza which also sounded amazing. If I could, I would have ordered more but I was already good from earlier finding random venders with food at Fushimi Inari. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this place. I’m not sure if they get super busy but I can see why they’re highly rated on here.

The BEST Gluten Free Pizza and Cheeses - Edit
We LOVED this place! I saw a few reviews where people weren’t happy with the prices and the portions but you have to understand they make everything from scratch; the gluten free dough, their own ice cream and all their own cheeses, including some that are fermented and aged. We were so impressed! The vegan cheese plate comes with a variety of these delicious cheeses that are house made—all so fresh and tasty (our favorite was the cashew one)! Yes, it’s a tiny portion but it’s worth getting. My husband and I are not gluten-free, and don’t purposely seek out gluten-free foods, but the pizza we got was one of the best gluten-free doughs we have ever had. Had it not said on the menu that this dough was gluten-free I would never have known! I have to believe that they put a lot of time and effort into perfecting that bread! You can buy some of their cheese wheels to go, as they do have grab and go options (they’re bigger) that are wrapped individually, but they need to be refrigerated. Either way, I highly recommend trying this place out! Oh, and the dessert was really good too! I loved that it had visual appeal vs. just a bowl of ice cream with some fruit. 10/10

Had the cheese board (smoky, koto, rum raisin). They were delicious; I think they’re good a great take at cold cheese here.

Choice offers an exquisite menu with a great variety of Japanese and European influences. Dishes include Mushroom Stroganoff, Margarita Pizza, Charcoal Risotto, French Omelette, Hamburgers, and soups. The service is excellent, but be prepared for small portion sizes at a higher price. If you’re hungry, you may end up spending more than expected.

There are certain foods that you miss when you go vegan and Japanese Omu rice (omelette filled with rice and tomato sauce) was one of those. I was really impressed with this take on the comforting Japanese dish. Was so excited I forgot to take a photo.

We needed a quick spot to grab breakfast early and they were open. It was so nice and clean inside. It was a huge space! Really nice place to relax and maybe read. We got the tofu egg salad sandwiches and coffee. It was great and what we needed to get the day started.

We ordered white wine, green smoothie, hamburger, soba noodles and pancake. I didn’t like the soba noodles (no taste), but the rest was very delicious. Try the white wine if you like wine in general. It was very good. Since I really liked the wine, I still give 5 stars.

However there was a lot of air in the glass so it looked bigger than it actually was.
The pizza was tasty, especially the cheese. But it was small and more like a snack than an actual meal.
