Went with my gf. The interior is nice 50s style like it should with a simpático ”50s television” cardboard frame attached to the tv playing fifties music, also in Spanish. My mac ’n cheese was pretty nice but the spicy burger she got was dry with a subpar bun, also fries were soft and not crispy. We didn’t try the desserts though, they looked yummy.

They have music shows and commercials from the 50's playing on a black & white TV in English and Spanish. So much fun to see.

We got to eat at Comet984's new restaurant today, and what a pleasant experience! The place is cute, with a 50's diner style throughout, even the bathroom. They also had 50's and 60's era American music playing. The menu includes traditional American food, drinks and desserts, plus a variety of crepes. We ordered cheeseburgers, fries and a couple of kinds of milkshakes. All were so yummy! (Note that the burgers don't come with fries automatically, you have to order those in addition. Perhaps someday they will have combos?)
Read moreThe customer service was equally excellent. They even noticed our son wasn't happy with one of the items he'd ordered and volunteered to fix it, after which he happily gulped it down.
We will happily return again :)

Such delicious junk food. I had the spicy burger, corn dogs, and loaded fries and they were all great. My non-vegan friend had the hotdog and fries and she even really enjoyed it. I would definitely come back here.

The decoration is as advertised: totally 50s and the food really good. They call it the place of vegan junk food and it’s right! The burgers just melt in your mouth and their flavouring prevents the soy taste from dominating. A truly excellent place for a veggie burger (I recommend the Comet Burger).

We walked with our luggage from the ADO bus stop to this diner before boarding the ferry to Cozumel and I'm glad we did. We had the cheeseburger, krabby burger, cheese fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Everything was really good but milkshake was the best I've ever had! Friendly service, great food, great prices.
