Soooooo good!! - Edit
I’m visiting my dad and normally he goes to the Cracker Barrel every morning for breakfast but this morning he let me talk him into going to this amazing little health food store and cafe! We ordered their “loaded oatmeal” and a yummy smoothie!! My dad was VERY impressed and said he could eat this every morning!! #veganpower #compassionatecuisine 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Limited menu due to C19 - Edit
I would have liked to try the tofu scramble or vegan baja burrito, but due to C19 the menu choices were more limited.

Nice breakfast spot for vegans - Edit
This is a cute spot for breakfast or lunch in Staunton for vegans and vegetarians. The menu seems to have grown from past reviews; there was a tofu scramble on the breakfast menu, a few sandwiches for lunch, four vegan soups, granola, pastries, and other items. Portions are small and the food is only gently seasoned, so it’s not the most exciting food you’ll ever eat, but it’s fresh and tasty, and a great option in an area that doesn’t really cater to vegans, especially at breakfast.

Very Accomodating - Edit
Came to Cranberry's for brunch while in town for a wedding. I ordered a carrot/orange juice and was able to customize a sandwich to be vegan (tempeh, lettuce, tomato, and vegan mayo on sourdough). I liked being about to shop while I was waiting for my food. Staff was very friendly and understanding of my requests. I only wish I had ordered a soup to go along with my sandwich, the vegan soup special smelled great when someone nearby ordered it.

Vegan in Staunton - Edit
It is difficult to find vegan options here in Staunton (where I live) but I generally do ok here. The staff will accommodate for vegans when able to.

Easy for vegan in Staunton - Edit
I live in Staunton and Cranberry's is the easiest to get a vegan lunch or breakfast. It's a small place with a health food store attached. They have great coffee and non-milk options. For lunch they have about 5 or so sandwich / wrap type options that can be easily made vegan. The staff is very accommodating to make the meal vegan. Popular spot for people to meet for coffee in the morning or lunch. Located right in downtown Staunton. Portions are ok but perhaps bit small.
Read morePros: Easy to make more than 5 or so items vegan., Great coffee and non milk options. , Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Smallish portions, Not much seating but usually OK.

Great healthy food - Edit
I loved that there were many milk options and vegan baked goods in the display case by the register. I had the kids size oatmeal and it was plenty of food. I also had a latte with soy but I think it was pretty overpriced.

Great Place - Edit
This small healthy grocery store and cute cafe, have lots of good things in them. My boyfriend and I especially love the cafe. They have great healthy, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, that taste great. Always stop here whenever driving through to Florida from NY twice a year. Usually order a juice or smoothie, as well as sandwiches and soup.

good but skimpy - Edit
We ate here twice in two days. I like the vibe though I wish they had a big more on the menu for vegans. The food we ordered was very good. The meals were not in-expensive though and we found the portion size was, generously speaking, meager.
Read moreIt appears to be a very popular place with older, seemingly well off clients for whom a meager portion size is probably appropriate. For my teenager however, it was not.
Pros: tasty vegan food, good vibe, authentic locally owned, Historic district with many attractions
Cons: don't expect large portions for vegan meals, Bread contains honey, Missed opportunity for vegan burrito

We always visit Cranberry's when in Staunton - Edit
We live in C'ville but always visit Cranberry's for lunch or a little shopping when we travel to or by Staunton. Service might be a little slow when they are busy but the food is very good and they are accommodating and friendly.
