I wanted to be wowed - Edit
It's great they have a separate plant based menu. We really enjoyed the dumpling starter and the creme brulee was to die for. The mushroom pate is also very good. Lovely location great for special occasions. We were disappointed tho with the mains we had the burger and tofu and chips. The tofu and chips was sogy and flavourless and for $37 dollar I was expecting more than literally aoli and a huge slab of flavourless wet tofu on top of chips. Felt like there was no effort put in considering the price point. The burger was better but again not worth the $38 we went there wanting to be blown away and the mains really let the team down. On the other hand, service was great and they have a good selection of drinks and desserts their mulled wine was very good.

Very good food - Edit
We were a bit disappointed that it was brunch menu only at 2pm on a Saturday so there was limited options as dar as lunch goes, it was very breakfast orientated.
Read moreNone the less, they has a separate menu, with lots of great brunch and dessert options
I had the cauliflower curry
It was Devine! And I don't like cauliflower.
Service was a bit relaxed but I guess that's how most like it for brunch.
Book well in advance for dinner.
Pros: Separate menu, Very well executed

Average food. Amazing atmosphere & Location. - Edit
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, seperate vegan menu. I had the “fish and chips” which tasted very fishy.

Plant Based Menu - Edit
Nice to have a special menu which has had some real effort put into it. Make sure you get the polenta fries - super good. Amazing location on the waterfront and a classic Wellington restaurant.

Average vegan food at a great location. - Edit
We enjoyed the experience of dining at the waterfront a lot, but the standard of the food and the friendliness of the staff were slightly less than expected. We had the vegan lasagna followed by a vegan ceme brulėe, while our son had a vegan fish and chips. All food was average. The mocktails were a bit bland.
