Ugh, served me meat

I love this place, especially bc they have gf injera. But they served me a dish that had meat in it when I was explicit about being vegan. That sucked.

Filling Vegan Ethiopian Meal

This is one of my favorite Ethiopian restaurants because the folks here are so nice! You can't go wrong with the veg sampler platter that is all vegan - especially if you don't know what to order. They have gluten-free injera if that's what you prefer.

They have lentil sambusas- little pastry triangles that are delightful. These are good if you are sharing the veg platter with someone, too. Otherwise, you won't have room!

The platter is on a bed of injera and then you eat it with more injera. My favorite is always the collard greens and the yellow split peas, but shiro (chickpeas) and tomato salad are very tasty and refreshing. You will be super full when you go here, but you will be very happy. Eating with your fingers is very satisfying!

Pros: Vegan sampler, Gluten-free injera, Lots of food
