Cheap and tasty - Edit
On a street that seemingly has every salad/bowl place in existence, we randomly chose Forage for lunch. It wasn’t outstanding, but it was pretty good. The basic make your own bowl allows you to get greens, grains, beans and veggies for a low price if you choose within their rules.

Salad bar with lots of vegan options. I love the sweet potato and their vegan meatballs!

Tasty! - Edit
Menu in-store is labelled with V for veg and VG for vegan. The Thai bowl (black rice, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted broccoli, carrots, sweet potato curry, cilantro, thai basil pesto) was incredible! Filling, fresh, and many layers of flavors.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
So many vegan options! The food is very fresh, and I like that you can build your owl bowl.

Forage is a terrific place for people who are WFPB. The bowls have amazing grains and beans and fresh veggies. I'm not a fan of spicy, so next time I will ask them to reduce whatever was fairly spicy. I had the Power Bowl. My husband had the Thai bowl-- he likes spicy and said it was great.

Lack of Transparency - Edit
Forage technically has vegan options, but they’ve opted not to label them anywhere on their website. So if you want to order from them you have to call and speak to an employee, who will give you a vague and rambling verbal list of what they believe can & can’t be modified to be vegan. The list changes depending on who you talk to and they never sound entirely certain.

Organized - Edit
Lists everything out for you so super easy to see what’s in it, but didn’t taste the best. It might’ve just been the thing I ordered but didn’t love it.

Good salads - Edit
I stopped in with my wife and a colleague from out of town and we were all very satisfied with our meals. My wife and I are vegans and Forage is obviously very vegan-friendly, but I liked how knowledgeable the girls behind the counter were of animal products. My wife and I each had a $6.50 make-your-own salad and they were extremely filling. Our colleague had one of the special salads and was stuffed for the rest of the day. We all split a goji acai bowl in two bowls for a dessert.

Pros: Cheap, Healthy
Cons: Not a lot of options, Too much honey, Should be vegan
