Delicious vegan ice cream - Edit
Except several sorbets, vegan pistacchio and dark chocolate ice cream were offered. I tried both and both were delicious.

Several vegan flavors and vegan cones, although we only tried the pistachio. Still we returned twice to get the same flavor again, because it was just that good!

Read moreWir waren eine Woche im Urlaub in Riva del Garda. Mein Mann und ich sind Mittags am ersten Tag zufällig an der Eisdiele vorbeigekommen. Spontan hat sich mein Mann ein Eis geholt, und da war’s passier. Er schwärmte vom leckeren Eis. Wir gingen ab da jeden Abend nach dem Abendessen in diese Eisdiele. Die Dame hinter der Theke war so netten freundlich, dass wir uns sofort sehr wohl fühlten.
In den ersten Tagen hatte ich schon viele Sorten probiert… alle lecker… 😋. Es gab auch die Sorte „Popcorn“, die ich am nächsten Tag probieren wollte. Leider war diese dann leider ausverkauft. Am drittletzten Tag fragte ich bei den Besitzer nach. Er versprach mir bis zum nächsten Abend die Sorte für mich herzustellen. Er hatte sein Wort gehalten, und was soll ich sagen… auch so lecker 😋.
Vielen Dank an das freundliche Besitzerpaar, dass sie dazu beigetragen haben unseren Urlaub zu verschönern.

I had the sugar free chocolate and pistachio which were both labelled vegan. They were very tasty - especially the chocolate which I wasn’t expecting with it being sugar free. Pistachio had a nice nutty flavour. Staff friendly.

Grandioses Haselnuss- und Pistazieneis - Edit
Im Juni 2023 gab es drei vegane Sorten. Haselnuss, Schokolade und Pistazie. Super cremig! Es gibt ein Hörnchen was vegan und glutenfrei ist, kostet 50 Cent extra. Laut Besitzer sind die normalen Hörnchen allerdings auch vegan (nur nicht Glutenfrei) und somit ohne Aufpreis :-)

Dark chocolate ice cream was super creamy and tasty. Cones are vegan. I was in chocolate heaven. Best dark chocolate vegan ice cream I ever had. They only had sorbets and dark chocolate as vegan ice creams. But I was still happy.

Die asiatische Bedienung war unglaublich unfreundlich. Sie wollte nicht verstehen was ich wollte, obwohl klar und verständlich erklärt. Es gab leider kaum vegane Sorten. Nur die fruchtsorten, und dunkle Schokolade waren vegan. Das Eis war der Umweg absolut nicht wert. Nie wieder.

Disappointed - Edit
Due to the numerous recommendations on happy cow we were in the Gelateria al Pozzo in June. Unfortunately there were only 3 vegan varieties and the statement: "in the high season there are only the fruit varieties". We tried two varieties and we were disappointed. There is more tasty ice cream at Lake Garda.

Leckeres Eis, große Portionen (1,50 EUR pro Kugel) und vegane Waffeln. Allerdings stört mich die Serviette, die man zur Waffel bekommt, denn ich finde das ist unnötiger Müll. Als ich gefragt hab, ob ich die Waffel ohne Serviette bekommen kann, wurde extrem unfreundlich reagiert und ich hatte letztendlich 2 Servietten.

In der Gellateria Al Pozzo in Riva gibt es sehr leckeres Eis. Insbesondere das vegane Pistazien- und Haselnusseis ist zu empfehlen. Zudem gibt es hier, was am Gardasee selten ist, Granita mit Fruchtpürre statt Farbstoffen und Aromen.

I was so happy to see vegan gelato labelled here! Just arriving from two days in Venice were we only found sorbet that was vegan friendly. They had two types: niccolata and pistachio. One scoop of each in a cup for only 2€!! Needless to say myself and boyfriend went back three days in a row until we had to leave! Great effort on their part to feed the minority with such heavenly, sugary and calorific foods? :)

Several vegan ice creams, well labelled and vegan (and gluten free) cones. These were the same price as the regular cones which was great. All tasted amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
