We came here for lunch and had the Lasagna with seitan ragù and Culurgiones (sardinian ravioli-like stuffed pasta -

The lasagna was really good and the tomato sauce was very flavorful. The culurgiones were also really nice.
For dessert, we had the Chocolate lava Cake which, again, was really great.
Highly recommend

Found delicious vegan food. Was a real treat to find. I really struggled being vegetarian in Sardinia as I'm also lactose intolerant (too much cheese!). Dishes were inventive and well presented.

The overall experience was okay, though it didn't quite meet my expectations.
Read moreThe menu featured a selection of dishes that were good but fairly basic. While the food was enjoyable, it didn't offer anything particularly memorable or unique.
One aspect that could be improved is the wait time. We found ourselves waiting longer than anticipated for our meals, which slightly impacted the experience.
Additionally, while the staff was friendly, I would have appreciated more engagement in explaining the dishes. It would have been nice to have a bit more insight into the ingredients and preparation.

Ho cenato al ristorante Gintilla la sera del 15 agosto e mi sono trovato benissimo! Il ristorante è ben curato, il personale gentile e professionale, ma il pezzo forte è ovviamente la cucina. Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo scelto due primi: spaghetti in stile carbonara e culurgiones ripieni di patate e formaggio veg al tartufo, conditi con una salsa “burro” e salvia. Entrambi i piatti sono stati SPAZIALI. Un gusto profondo e deciso, che mi ha davvero fatto assaporare ogni boccone. Oltretutto le porzioni erano belle sostanziose, come piace a me e questo è sicuramente un plus. Come benvenuto ci è stato servito un assaggio di bresaola veg con un pomodorino ed ho apprezzato moltissimo anche questa portata. Infine abbiamo concluso la cena con un tiramisù buono, ma per onestà intellettuale devo dire che non è tra i migliori tiramisù veg che io abbia mangiato. Tuttavia è comunque un dolce da 7/8.

The service was very quick and polite.

The culurgiones was amazing. Had to go back the day after to eat it again. The cheese platter was also nice. The carbonara was ok, but have had better other places. Wouldn’t recommend the desserts we tried: tiramisu and seada.

They accommodated our party of six at the last minute, which was lucky. The menu had loads of enticing dishes, such as lasagne, gnocchi, risotto and parmigiana. Chilled ambience but the lighting was a little stark.

Gintilla is nice, it tries to lean towards the higher end of restaurants and in many ways succeeds. The room is beautiful, modern and very clean. The service is professional and unobtrusive. The food is a mixed bag. An amuse bouche of bruschetta was tasty and well seasoned. Beetroot carpaccio fresh and full of flavour. The lasagne was rich and tasty but could have been hotter and the carbonara was very one note. The meatloaf was ok, not great, just ok. The tempura was not traditional tempura and not to my liking and the crispy potatoes were not crispy but instead were soft and covered in semolina, really didn’t like them. Overall the food was “ok”. The best part was having a vegan experience in nicer surroundings.

Abends empfehle ich eine Reservierung zu machen weil es sonst vorkommen kann, dass man warten muss bis ein Platz frei wird (spreche auf Erfahrung;)
Alle in allem sehr zu empfehlen - allerdings ist es für mein Empfinden etwas überHyped im Netz (&auch hier bei happyCow) was aber vermutlich eher an der Anrichteweise als dem wirklichen Essen liegen mag (das Auge ißt halt nunmal mit) -> das Essen ist super aber halt auch nichts komplett neues dafür halt sehr nett präsentiert 🎀

Really very tasty and a good selection - the lunch offer changes weekly and there is always something for everyone ;)
In the evening I recommend making a reservation because otherwise you may have to wait until a place becomes available (speaking from experience;)
All in all, highly recommended - although in my opinion it's a bit overhyped on the internet (& here at happyCow too) which is probably more due to the way it's served than the actual food (the eye just eats too) -> the food is great but nothing completely new, just very nicely presented 🎀

The food here is absolutely great. We had a cheese board (all variations of the same parmesan-like hard cheese, homemade, tasty), lasagne (good but not outstanding) and the culurgiones (fresh pasta filled with potato and cheese). Those were fantastic, definitely the star.
