The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Gorgeous to look at and dive into.
The staff was so kind and attentive.
It is a very distinctive experience in Rio.

Very creative vegan cuisine - Edit
The restaurant sign says "Gurumê". They have an omnivore and a plant-based menu called "Vegmê". The menu is only in Portuguese, but there is a QR Code on the table with which you can see an English menu online.

The restaurant has a lot of creative sushi options. It is not fully vegan, but 90% of the Vegmê options are vegan. The vegetarian and vegan dishes are clearly labelled.
I had the banana and vegan mozzerella Nigiri, the hot rolls with vegan goats cheese and the Veg Mê Tartar and all three were delicious.

Brilliant vegan options - Edit
Separate vegan/veggie menu clearly labelled which options were vegan (and there were plenty!) English menu available online from QR. The sushi was lovely - my partner who is a recent vegan and long time sushi lover said the aubergine nigiri was the closest to fish she has had! We had a nice selection of sushi and other tasty dishes and finished off perfectly by noticing that all 3 desserts were vegan! Service was also very attentive and kind, staff even noticed a soy sauce spill on white trousers and brought some warm water to help clean it off without us even asking! Lovely experience and great food.
