They chit chat with regulars, and show care for homeless people that come by. It’s service and friendliness at its best!

Stopped here for lunch one day when in the Leblon area. Service was great. We had the empanada and empadinhas (delicious!!), the big salad, and the mushroom burger. Everyone around us got the plate of the day (not pictured) which also looked amazing, I just didn’t want hot food bc it was so hot out, and the big salad hit the spot. They also have breads and other baked goods as well as sandwiches to grab and go. Definitely a great all vegan spot in Rio!

Marvelous Palm Heart Pizza and Great Service - Edit
One of the best and coziest restaurants in Rio de Janeiro. The owners are (at least were) from Minas Gerais, so the service has that human warmth of the “mineiro” from the countryside. Any food option will be very honest. I highlight the palm heart pizza, I think it's wonderful. And for dessert, I insist that you order any option (especially if you have cake), the experience will be marvelous.

Vida Bistro is an amazing vegan restaurant with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had the lunch special and it was so much food! Salad, rice, beans, veggies, and a delicious soy dish. Everything was really tasty. After that, I was completely satisfied, but I really wanted to try one of their cakes, so I took it to go. It was also quite good. I would definitely recommend visiting Vida Bistro when in Rio, it is not an expensive restaurant and the food is delicious!

Pelo que entendi eles servem opções diferentes todos os dias então não procure cardápio, apenas vá e surpreenda-se. O preço das opções principais não é barato mas é ok, paguei uns R$40,00 no prato individual muito bem servido. As sobremesas são um show à parte, apesar do preço um pouco mais salgado.

I really enjoyed this place. The food, the people, and the vibe. I had no idea what to order, so I asked the owner/manager to “just feed me.” She fed me well. I got the daily special (no idea what it is called) and it was very tasty and satisfying. I had her do the same with dessert. I got a chocolate-coconut cake. Very good.

Vida Bisto is one of these places where you can feel the food is made from the heart. They use fresh ingredients, creating every day two main dishes to select or a big organic salad.

I like the fresh vegan and gluten free pizza very much, also the gratin with palmito.
If they do palmito as a day option I never can resist. A fresh juice with the great Brazilian pineapple mixed with mint makes it perfect. Never too much and always a good variety of healthy food.
For me it is more a great and healthy Lunch and afternoon restaurant than a bakery.
