The store is filled with rare Asian vegan items and rare vegan items. Like the vegan candy bars and Asian sauces.
We got the Hong Kong bbq dim sum, kung pao chik’n and the laksa noodles. Everything was amazing. I was most impressed by the soy chik’n as it wasn’t melt in the mouth delicious.
Coming back for the vegan hot pot!!!!

Read moreChristina is talented chef and welcoming cafe. Cute and cosy. We had lotus leaf sticky rice wrap, steamed veggie dumplings, curry steamed dumpling, beef cheung fun, fried shrimp wrap. Nice personal touches in cafe, soft lighting, open kitchen, items available for purchase in store. Highly recommend - will satisfy tastebuds of vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters!

Homey is the best! - Edit
I'm a big fan of Homey! I've been a customer since Christina's days at her previous spot on Centre Street. She's genuinely one of the nicest people you'll meet. Homey has an excellent range of exclusive frozen vegan items that are hard to find elsewhere in the city. The addition of vegan dim sum and hot pot had me thrilled. I love the vegan "fish" balls that she has for hot pot. It's a spot everyone can enjoy, whether they follow a vegan lifestyle or not!

Great local business, and the owner is always great to visit with while you shop. Lots of freezer space for animal meat alternatives. Sauces and soups also available. We picked up our field roast holiday roast there, for Christmas. 10/10 recommended this place #Veganuary

Can't say enough good things about this place. The owner, Christina, is so friendly and helpful. If you need ideas on how to prepare any of the items, she's a wealth of information. Majority of the food is vegan, and vegetarian items are kept separate. I love this place!

I had a really hard time finding this place, but was extremely satisfied once I did! My first time inside, the lady working there helped me find where the vegan selection was and showed me some of the options. All of the vegan/vegetarian items are frozen and stored in freezers throughout the shop (and are definitely kept separate from the meat). The products range from mock fish, to mock meatballs, to dumplings, to mock ham...tons of variety. My absolute favourite is the vegetarian gong bao chicken - the chicken comes with a delicious sauce, and once it's thawed it's easy to mix with veggies and rice. My coworkers were jealous when I ate this at lunch :P

Centre Fresh Meat had change to a new management. It is no longer a butcher shop. The shop only sale Vegan and Vegetarian food. You have to pay a visit to the shop and you will be surprise by the change! 😊
