Specialist of Shojin Ryori

Mari Fujii is a specialist and author of many cook books about Shojin Ryori including the one in English, “Enlightened Kitchen : Fresh Vegetable Dishes from the Temples of Japan”.
She gives the lesson in Japanese at her home in Inamura-gasaki.
For the people who understand Japanese, it is a nice way to learn the cooking and also communicate with other Japanese participants.
For the non-Japanese speaker, the workshop organized by Idees Kamakura is ideal as the menu consist of the vegetables and ingredients which are easy to find overseas. And the recipe and the information are provided in English.
