Tea ceremony by a certified tea ceremony master conducted in English or German. All tea and sweets are vegan and gluten-free. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-9:00pm.
We had a tea ceremony for two. Tea master Michael was very kind and he knew a lot about tea and the tea culture. Tea was excellent quality and the swerts superb. I higly recommend if you want to have a tea ceremony with a mit more luxury and far from tourists.
Location is opposite to Shinkyoji shrine on a small paralel street to Rojanzi-dori, so not exactly where the map shows.
Michael is Swiss and a Certified Japanese tea ceremony master with deep knowledge about the making, tradition and spiritual aspects of tea. The tea ceremony is exclusively done with Matcha and accompanied by vegan and gluten-free candies.
