Take-out
Non-veg
Serves meat, vegan options available. A New Orlean style sandwiches poboy restaurant with something not often seen in poboy shops--vegan poboy that aren't French fry poboys. The choice changes from time and to and might be a roasted sweet potato & greens poboy or roasted vegetables poboy. Relocated from 811 Conti St. Open Mon 10:00am-8:00pm, Wed-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

Excellent And Multiple Options! - Edit
NOLA is a little difficult for food-loving vegans. I was so thrilled to find 3 vegan poboy options all in one place that I got 2 to hold me for a couple days. The sweet potato and the BBQ Tofu were both delish and tasted like quality ingredients. Next time, I’d begin my trip here and stock up the hotel fridge! I only wish they stayed open later.

Vegan Po boys! - Edit
I've never had a normal poboy, but I've heard finding a good vegan one is hard? At this restaurant, half of the menu was vegetarian, and half of those were vegan. They also had vegan steamed greens as a side which is hard to find! The Thai BBQ Tofu poboy was delicious. The sauce was tasty and the tofu was cooked well. A quick, relatively inexpensive bite in the French Quarter

Delicious, affordable, and fast! - Edit
My partner and I popped in here during a visit to New Orleans, and we were totally satisfied! I ordered the cauliflower po'boy with romesco sauce and my (non-vegan) husband had one with BBQ chicken. My sandwich was delicious and just the right size for lunch. I was afraid it would be huge from the pictures, but it was perfect. They had an ice water station and bathroom, too. Food came out within 10 minutes! The value for the taste is incredible.

Go early because they run out of vegan options - Edit
I ordered the tofu Poboy and they were sold out, as well as out of the cauliflower. I tried the only other vegan option which was the sweet potato. It was not well presented with 90% collard greens, an overwhelming amount, and only a tiny bit of sweet potato with no black eyed pea and pecan spread as advertised. Next time I will go earlier!

A Frech Quarter Delight - Edit
One daquari down, and it was time to eat. Stopped by at around 2pm Sunday and boy was that the right time because a line started outside the building waiting for seating! Thai BBQ Tofu Poboy was awesome; sweet, sticky, with a good acid hit from the slaw. Highly recommend checking this place out !

Don't leave NOLA without going here - Edit
The bbq tofu poboy slays so hard. The cauliflower one is pretty dang tasty too, but the tofu gets it with the crunch from the peanuts too🌱 So awesome, the staff are excellent, and what a fun place:)

Good flavor, but eat it fast - Edit
The tofu po'boy was pretty good. I loved the tofu but the slaw was a little brine-y tasting. I also didn't eat fast enough as the slaw made my bread soggy and inedible pretty quick

Worth the trip - Edit
When we went there were three vegan options: Thai tofu BBQ, cauliflower and sweet potato with collards. I had the Thai tofu which was nice and spicy with a full flavor. The local tofu was special. My wife had the sweet potato one and enjoyed hers fully as well.

We were staying a few doors away from here. Had the Thai Tofu sandwich. Kind of reminded me of a Bahn Mi sandwich. Very tasty and a little spicy.

Quick and easy. The lady behind the register praised all of their vegan options with pride and excitement. I got the cauliflower Po’Boy. The kale chips sprinkled in were and interesting touch. I very much look forward to trying the other options. #Veganuary

This is a pretty good review. Since they serve meat, 4 stars is the top, and it's not the top, but it was very good.

Veg PoBoy - Edit
Vacationing in New Orleans with meat eaters I was a hungry vegan for a good part of the week. Before a bar tour I needed food. The majority of my friends wanted to eat at a place that only offered an iceberg salad that I would have to modify. So a friend offered to go somewhere else so I wouldn't have to eat alone again. Yay for friends. We decided on Killer Poboys.
Read moreThis is a awesome hole in the wall in the middle of the city. I ordered the lemongrass tofu. I think I should have gone with the other vegan option. but it was good. the staff was great, side note my omni friend went with an animal protien option and she said it was the best food she had on the trip. So this is a great option if you are traveling with death eaters.

Thanks for the tips. Heading to NOLA and I know what it’s like to eat alone. Death eaters, funny in a sad way.

Cauliflower poboy for the win! - Edit
I've stopped in 2x in 2 days and have tried the Cauliflower poboy and the Thai Tofu poboy. In my opinion, the cauliflower was the best. There's generally a lack of vegan options in the French Quarter, but this place makes up for that with 3 really solid sandwiches.

Ok yeah! - Edit
They have 3 vegan poboy options, plus a pecan butter and jelly sandwich. I tried the Thai BBQ Tofu Poboy and loved it! The tofu was downright delectable! Everything in it tasted great, the only issue was the slaw was too wet and made part of the bread gooey (ew). I also got to try the pecan butter and jelly sandwich. Do not sleep on this sandwich! It’s hearty and well balanced, 8/10 would recommend!
