Sie hatten einiges an veganer Auswahl. Wir hatten zwei Gerichte mit Tofu bestellt. Tofu gab es leider nicht, dafür haben wir mehr Gemüse bekommen. Das Essen selber war köstlich.

A nice (vega/vegan) meal for a good price. Not super surprising and doesnt taste very original Thai, but the veggies seem fresh. If you want some real Thai flavour and some hot spice, this is not the place. My curry had a symbol of a pepper but was very soft

Die Aufnahme der Bestellung war nett und freundlich, allerdings dauerte es schon bis ich die Mangosaftschorle serviert bekam.

Dasselbe Prozedere fand auch beim Hauptgericht statt,mit der Ausnahme, dass ich erst nachfragen musste, wann denn meine bestellte und bezahltes Essen kommt. Da hatte meine Freundin schon längst ihre Portion aufgegessen.

Ist doch scheiße, wenn man zusammen essen möchte und die Küche das nicht gebacken bekommt.
Mich interessiert auch nicht, ob es dann auch zeitgleich Bestellungen zum Ausliefern gab oder nicht.
Das Essen an sich war in Ordnung, aber auch nix besonderes. Beim ersten Besuch , der länger zurück lag, war das anders.

Cons: Langsam und unorganisiert.

We had ‘fresh’ summer rolls and two different curries. The veggies were far from fresh and the tofu was rotten, and the curry had a very weird not like curry taste. Food was served in a few minutes which is weird. Apart from the bad food the staff wasn’t very friendly and the place looked like a studentbar. No asians to be found in the kitchen btw, that already says a lot.

There was plenty of vegan options which was really good, it's not the best curry I've ever had but was yummy. I also liked that you had to self serve cutlery so you weren't automatically given a straw.

The thing they called masaman curry was probably the worst meal I‘ve had in a long time. Rice was completely soggy, service didn’t had any clue.

Ordered veg spring rolls and a tofu massaman curry. The spring rolls contained barely any vegetables and didn't taste of much...definitely from a bag of frozen spring rolls. The curry was disgusting, it wasn't massaman curry at all, I don't know what it was but it tasted like butter and had no flavour. I can only describe this as the worst meal I've ever been provided with, I didn't think it was possible to get Thai food this wrong!

Ate here when visiting Cologne and it was amazing. I tried the 'Mango Curry with Tofu' and I have been trying to replicate it ever since. There is outdoor seating which made the environment really peaceful and relaxed.

The Kittichai at Alter Markt is one of two restaurants of the franchise in cologne. They offer different vegan options as well as tasty Cocktails. Perfect to stop by when you are on a shopping tour in the city. I can recommend the massaman curry! The only things that's a bit odd is that they have a "semi"-serves( where you first order & pay, and then they bring your food to you when its ready) and they have TVs in the hole place that only play a weird fashion channel.

I had a great time , the staff was really friendly. The food itself was very well presented but had little to no taste , this is a result of a Thai place that isn’t run by Thai ppl nor has a Thai cook. The food isn’t authentic at all but it’s a trendy spot in the city center

The best Thai in Cologne - Edit
Only one vegan starter on offer, however, there's quite a few vegan main dishes to choose from. The portion is huge and the service is lightning fast (I usually get my dish in 3 to 5 minutes from ordering), so there's no need to go for the starter anyway. All the vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu. My favourite one is the one with the peanut sauce, but the curries are also very nice. It's the best place to get Thai in Cologne, with 3 locations to choose from.
