Tasty and decent prices but nothing I'd return for - Edit
Small but cute cafe with a modest yet decently priced menu of drinks and sweets.

The cheesecake had a wonderfully soft creamy texture that's a bit less thick than cream cheese. It was pretty sweet partly due to the crunchy caramelized top layer. And yet it was also quite subtle at the same time.
The iced cocoa I asked to have sweetened as I know Taiwanese poepel don't like stromg flavors of sweet/salty. It was still too subtle for me but sweet enough all in all. The cocoa was dominant, not too much but also not as a very deep/rich flavor.
I'd give the cheese cake 7.5/10 and the iced cocoa 7/10 compared to what I consider a great cheesecake and cocoa which are 8.5/10. But hey, that's just my opinion and I think you never know if you'd like something ubtil you try it out for yourslef.
All in all it was satisfying, just not anything remarkable that would make me want to return.
P.s. A small bonus is the beautiful architecture of the building in which the cafe resides and of the street which is perhaps of some historical significance I dod not have the motivation to research.

A very cozy and aesthetically pleasing cafe - Edit
They offer a variety of lattes, typical espresso drinks, and sweet treats although those can sell out quickly.

Read moreBeim ersten Anlauf war das Cafe leider geschlossen, obwohl es laut den Öffnungszeiten offen haben sollte. Beim zweiten Mal hat es dann zum Glück geklappt und es war sehr lecker. Leider hatten sie an dem Tag als Dessert nur die Puddings im Angebot, obwohl ich mich auf die Zimtschnecke gefreut hatte. War aber auch gut.

Fantastic and cozy - Edit
Located in an old timey shopping center on Dihua Street, Koneko Cafe seats up to a dozen people, including a few bar counter seats. Order and pay at the counter for dine-in or take-out. I brought my mom with me on a Sunday afternoon to try out their cinnamon roll and original cheesecake. Both were delectable and easy to share. The hot Thai tea was also perfect. They happily provided warm water for my mom to drink. I look forward to visiting in May/June when they start offering shaved ice in various flavors!

Cozy Cafe with great food - Edit
We had the cheesecake (rich, caramel flavor, no hint of soy or coconut like many others), the huge cinnamon roll (served warm), a well-made latte and sumptuous hot chocolate.
