Amazing vegan food - Edit
Can’t recommend this enough. Fully vegan place. Had the sausage and cheese croquettes to start and the fish and chips for main. Everything was amazing. It was so tasty and filling. My boyfriend who is an omni really enjoyed it all too. The portions were huge!

Amazing Food, Amazing People - Edit
In the last month I’ve traveled to Lisbon twice and each time I’ve come I have eaten dinner here at Kong. The food here is so good and the people here are amazing. They are so welcoming and really make me feel at home. I would 100% recommend this place if you’re traveling to Lisbon. They have also been open during Covid so if you are traveling during the pandemic then you should for sure stop by.

Really big portions and delicious food. Ive tried soup of the day, which was corn and it was so creamy! then i had the chorizo croquettes and oh my god! followed by franceskhina (surely spelled it wrong but its portugese national dish) and fish and chips. everything was excellent and the waitress was friendly

The best vegan food in Lisbon - Edit
For 2 of us it was the best vegan food in Lisbon. My husband is very peaky but he said that's the best burger he had ever (King burger) and I ordered a Francesinha which is a Portugal dish and was really good. And chocolate cake is the best ever! If you belive in heaven this is how it's taste.

Great spot for a authentic vegan Portuguese dinner - Edit
I loved my experience at Kong! First of all, they are clearly dedicated vegans and support the community with offering great food which shows that you don´t have to sacrifice anything by eating plant-based, not even your beloved traditional dishes. And second of all, the food is amazing! I can´t tell how the original version of a Francesinha would be but this one was definitely incredible, even though very heavy. I can´t remember the last time I had to order dessert for takeaway because I was too stuffed. Still, the raffaelo cake is also worth trying and I suggest to leave a bit space for the dessert or you might regret it😉

Good comfort food - Edit
We stopped here for lunch and had some starters and the famous franzesinha - we liked the food, although it was a bit "rich", but it was probably because of our choices (fried and stuffed). The place is small but pleasant and the staff extremely nice, I would have tried the cheesecake but I was just too full!

Very disappointing - Edit
We went based on the great reviews here.
Read moreFor starters we had croquettes, which had a funny taste and were very salty. I then had the beyond meat burger which was okay but not mind blowing. The fries were a little soggy, not to my taste.
My friend had the Francesinha. I tried it for the first time and found it horrible, but I cannot blame Kong for the fact that I seem to hate soaked toast which makes up most of that dish😂
All in all, I wouldn’t go here again

The atmosphere is really cozy and warm, the food was great and the staff is just excellent, so flexible, nice, efficient, 5* really.
