Amazing vegan food

Can’t recommend this enough. Fully vegan place. Had the sausage and cheese croquettes to start and the fish and chips for main. Everything was amazing. It was so tasty and filling. My boyfriend who is an omni really enjoyed it all too. The portions were huge!

Pros: Fully vegan , Reasonably priced , Lots of options

Cons: Service was a little slow

the place for 'meat' lovers

this restaurant really knows how to mimic animal produs and create vegan dishes out of it. very delicious and good portions. the inside area doesnt look too inviting but the lovely staff makes it away.

Pros: burger, staff!, location

Amazing Food, Amazing People

In the last month I’ve traveled to Lisbon twice and each time I’ve come I have eaten dinner here at Kong. The food here is so good and the people here are amazing. They are so welcoming and really make me feel at home. I would 100% recommend this place if you’re traveling to Lisbon. They have also been open during Covid so if you are traveling during the pandemic then you should for sure stop by.

Pros: Traditional Portuguese Food, Very welcoming and friendly , Open during Covid

Perfect

Really big portions and delicious food. Ive tried soup of the day, which was corn and it was so creamy! then i had the chorizo croquettes and oh my god! followed by franceskhina (surely spelled it wrong but its portugese national dish) and fish and chips. everything was excellent and the waitress was friendly

The best vegan food in Lisbon

For 2 of us it was the best vegan food in Lisbon. My husband is very peaky but he said that's the best burger he had ever (King burger) and I ordered a Francesinha which is a Portugal dish and was really good. And chocolate cake is the best ever! If you belive in heaven this is how it's taste.

Pros: Great food, amazing dessert,

Great spot for a authentic vegan Portuguese dinner

I loved my experience at Kong! First of all, they are clearly dedicated vegans and support the community with offering great food which shows that you don´t have to sacrifice anything by eating plant-based, not even your beloved traditional dishes. And second of all, the food is amazing! I can´t tell how the original version of a Francesinha would be but this one was definitely incredible, even though very heavy. I can´t remember the last time I had to order dessert for takeaway because I was too stuffed. Still, the raffaelo cake is also worth trying and I suggest to leave a bit space for the dessert or you might regret it😉

Good comfort food

We stopped here for lunch and had some starters and the famous franzesinha - we liked the food, although it was a bit "rich", but it was probably because of our choices (fried and stuffed). The place is small but pleasant and the staff extremely nice, I would have tried the cheesecake but I was just too full!

Edit: I went back and I got a quiche, a bulgur salad and 2 cakes and they were delicious!

Food was amazing

The staff was really friendly, we had campignons filled with bacon and cheese as an appetizer and Francesinha and a bowl for the main course. It was more than delicious.
You should also try the vegan nutscake.
We‘ll definitely come back.

Pros: Cheep , Vegan only

Good, but overrated

I went because of the reviews here and thought it would be the absolute best vegan place in the planet haha it’s great, the food is good, but the hype is disproportionatel

Very disappointing

We went based on the great reviews here.
For starters we had croquettes, which had a funny taste and were very salty. I then had the beyond meat burger which was okay but not mind blowing. The fries were a little soggy, not to my taste.
My friend had the Francesinha. I tried it for the first time and found it horrible, but I cannot blame Kong for the fact that I seem to hate soaked toast which makes up most of that dish😂
All in all, I wouldn’t go here again

Assolutamente 100%

Sono finita da Kong a caso, ma ci tornerò sicuramente. Abbiamo preso (da asporto):
- Francesina strepitosa e porzione immensa, con patatine fritte homemade
- Bolo do brigadeiro favoloso
- Fish & Chips (sembrava vero pesce!) con riso

In più personale adorabile! 😍

Scoperta 100%!

Pros: Ottima qualità prezzo, Personale gentilissimo, Gusto strepitose

Great food in a hidden alley

I had the mushroom seitan, everything was amazing, the seitan was made in the restaurant and had a splendid flavour.
The restaurant is a bit hidden but I believe that the locals and HappyCow make it known to those who look for nice food in the old part of lisbon.

Excellent food and atmosphere

Delicious food. I had „fish” and chips and after the first bite I freaked out that I am actually eating Real fish, but No! This is a fully vegan restaurant :-). Dessert was also amazing. I will definitely be back to try other positions from the menu.
Place is cozy and the service is excellent.

Pros: All vegan , Very tasty , Nice atmosphere

Will be back 😊

I had my birthday lunch there and was such a great choice, better than I expected! The atmosphere is really cozy and warm, the food was great and the staff is just excellent, so flexible, nice, efficient, 5* really. I had a francezinha for the very first time in my life and it was very good. Luckely I live in Lusbon, so I will be deffinitelly back for the fish and chips and dessert😄Absolutely recommend.

Pros: Great food, Amazing staff, Nice atmosphere

Cons: A bit pricy for Portugal, but worth it once in a w

Excellent little restaurant in a great location

If you want to try the typical Portuguese dish francesinha (vegan of course), make sure to visit this place! Very tasty and a lot of options. They also have daily menu (soup, main and a drink)

Pros: Vegan francesinha!
