Great and inexpensive food to go - Edit
Had the Makali sandwich which was filled with all the good stuff: eggplants, cauliflower, potato wedges, salad and a vegan sesame lemon sauce. For 3,50 € this was a very delicious, satisfying and filling meal. Unlike a previous reviewer I found the raw onions a little bit too much though, but that's just a personal opinion.

If you only check out one falafel place in Mainz, you should go here! The sandwiches they make are very good and also cheap: 3 EUR a piece, but I highly recommend to add hummus and tabouleh for an additional EUR. Make sure to specify that you are vegan, as only the hot sauce is vegan (and sometimes they have vegan sesame sauce as well, but the sandwiches taste also great without it).

this is - hands down - the best falafel imaginable. the staff is great and knows about veganism and is happy to help and to create a vegan menu. I highly recommend the falafel sandwich "vegan" with hummus and tabbouleh. as a side I recommend the baba ganoush. sooooo yummy!
