lovely cafe but terrible service - Edit
searched for a place to have breakfast for a while before coming across Liebling. my boyfriend and i were happy to eat here, seeing things on the menu we could both eat (he is a meat eater). i was impressed with the amount of vegan options on the menu and was excited to try. i ordered a vegan hot chocolate with oat milk and the 'taube', which consisted of bulgar porridge, avocado salsa, hummus, pico de gallo, grilled vegetables and wheat tortillas. unfortunately, Lieblings was a huge let down when it came to service. the waitress herself was kind, however we waited for about 25 minutes before even ordering our drinks & food. once this was ordered, an entire hour went by before we got our food. normally this would make more sense if the food we ordered was a hot meal, but both myself and my boyfriend ordered cold breakfasts, so we were baffled as to why this took so long. it was a massive shame as we just wanted to get out and spend the day in vienna and felt this meal was a massive waste of our time and day. the breakfast was nothing to write home about. the hummus, grilled veggies, avocado and pico de gallo were tasty when stuffed into the tortilla wraps provided, but honestly felt like a dish i could easily re-create when at home. it was a massive let down to be honest, especially as this was one of the few places that offered proper vegan breakfasts instead of just porridges and falafel. i would not dine here again.

schmeckt super! die auswahl an veganem essen ist schön groß und für hafermilch in kaffee und co. zahlt man keinen aufpreis! leider gibts aber keinen entkoffeinierten kaffee.

Had the nozarella bread and the vegan pancakes with berries. Both were delicious. The dressing for the salad served with the bread was outstanding!
Read moreThe nozarella is supposed to substitute mozzarella, but comes off way creamier than you’d expect. Still super good!
Pancakes are rather juicy and match perfectly with the berries they are served with. Couldn’t take a photo, they were gone too quickly😉

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Wollte veganen Kuchen - gab nur eine vegane Option (Brownies), von der mir der Kellner abriet, weil sie "nicht sehr gut seien". Dann wurds nur der Cappuchino mit Hafermilch (für ziemlich hohen Aufpreis). Sehr schönes Ambiente im Lokal, aber schmutzige WCs.

the bowl was great but the day after I came back and ordered the Liebling breakfast which was bad... cold and very small.
