Really good mushroom bitterballen - Edit
The standout at this Dutch place is the mushroom bitterballen which is crisp on the outside with a delicious truffle mushroom centre.
Read moreThe nasi goreng was very good with a perfect spice level, but kind of expensive at $22.00 and an option to add tempeh for an extra $7.00.
The magic mushrooms dish was quite good with really good crispy kale, perfectly cooked, not bitter, but would have liked more thyme or flavour on the mushrooms
The fries with a lovely garlicky mayo, and satay sauce was very good but got soggy and I would prefer the sauces on the side.
The potato skins were not as expected at all, they came out like thin potato shavings, but still enjoyable.
The staff are really friendly, including the chef who came and chatted with us.

Lovely to have a Dutch restaurant/cafe with some vegan options for when I'm missing my Oma. I've only been here once and had the Weed Burger, which was a very tasty, well balanced tempeh burger, but I'm looking forward to coming back to feed my nostalgia with some pea soup and rode kool and will update my review (and add photos) then. Good coffee too, note that it comes with a complimentary small cookie that is not vegan. Friendly, comfy, good decor/interior design, good vibes, gezellig!
