Can’t word how much I enjoyed this meal! I had the mac n cheese & my omni girlfriend had the pizza crunch supper and loved it! We also shared the garlic bread with cheese which was gorgeous. Best meal out since going vegan🌱

Yummy vegan comfort food on a wet rainy day 💚 - Edit
I was lucky to dine at a different vegan restaurant every day while in Scotland. While they were all delicious this was my favorite and most creative. #Veganuary

Loved the food SO MUCH the deep fried pizza was my fave! Never had it before and is a Scottish thing apparently. The staff are absolutely lovely, we were served by Kirsty and she was so sweet.

Mono is still delivering the goods! - Edit
I’ve been away from Glasgow for a few years and was delighted to get along to Mono for some vegan scran last week. Pleased to say it’s still delivering the goods! I couldn’t make my mind up if I wanted the good old mac n cheeze or to try the plant based black pudding, so I asked nicely and the chef whipped me up both in one dish – it was tremendous! Highly recommend. Always great when the kitchen is happy to accommodate your mad requests with some tasty tucker.

Bit quiet, good menu - Edit
We came on a Monday evening so it lacked atmosphere because of being a large, cavernous place with only a few tables occupied. Would like to try on a weekend evening when it's busier. Friendly staff, reasonably priced, good menu. The starters, in particular were good - the griddled sweetcorn and the deep fried cauliflower.

Delicious food but dubious service. - Edit
Mono food is delicious and very inventive. I do tend to avoid going due to the service you could wait for ages for service and good luck trying to get a second drink or order dessert. It's a real shame as like I said the food is very tasty.

Great restaurant and location - Edit
Mono's to fish and chips is still the gold standard for me and their pizzas are always delicious. Have noticed menu is a bit narrower in recent times but still plenty of appealing stuff on there. Good range of beers and the community space/old brewery decor makes for a great atmosphere.

Lovely pub grub! - Edit
We came here 8th Feb 2020 - my husband, myself & our 2 kids. Our first visit to a vegan restaurant & it didn’t disappoint!
Read moreThe venue itself had a student feel to it.
The menu had a variety of the usual pub grub-style stuff. I had mushroom bruschetta starter, a korean bbq chicken pizza main & the dark chocolate cheesecake. Husband had soup of the day, schnitzel & sundae. Daughter had garlic bread, sausage & chips, & the chocolate ice cream. Son had the burger & chips.
I have not a single complaint about my meal, my daughter’s meal (although I personally didn’t taste her sausages - she didn’t leave any & she is a fuss-pot!), or my son’s burger (I had a little taste & it was veeeery nice as far as fake burgers go!). My husband felt that his gnocchi was a little too rich in garlic (but that’s an individual preference thing).
We would definitely revisit!
Pros: Tasty food, Decent price, Attentive staff (to our 4yo daughter!)
Cons: Toilets could do with a clean up

Delicious - Edit
A lovely relaxed atmosphere and a good choice of dishes. I went for the celeriac schnitzel with gnocchi in a rich creamy mushroom sauce. It was nice but I thought it would be more Schnitzel and less gnocchi but it was the other way around! We had a mini mac and cheese to share which was outstanding and my partner had the korean bbq pizza which he said was the best vegan pizza he's had yet (we are new vegans). Service was great until we asked fpr the bill and were forgotten about. Not a big deal though, these things happen.

Really good vegan food - Edit
MASSIVE selection of really good vegan food- we had a range of things including the Mac and cheese, chicken pizza and to-fish and chips. All were tasty and steaming hot! Lovely chilled out vibe made the perfect lunch spot while exploring Glasgow! So lovely to have an all vegan menu, the choices were really good! Oat and soya milk available for hot drinks.

One of the longest running and best vegan cafes in the city. An equal mix of well presented pub grub and dishes that border on 'the finer things' including a blue 'cheese' sauce salad that had me dreaming of my return for weeks!
