Good variety of food - Edit
This is a great place for healthy, tasty, creative food. Awesome for vegans & vegetarians. There are a variety of items. Seating can be tight at busy times. It is close to downtown.

Delicious food - Edit
Nordvegan has delicious food, pleasant and central location in Oslo.
Read moreYou have to queue up to get the food and pay before seating, so at peak times it can be a little extra time, but the location and the food completely worth it.
The hot food is on a heated counter, so it's sometimes 1 hour old and not extremely hot.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Comfortable area and with a nice temperature.

Pros: Food, English spoken, Location
Cons: Queue up to pay and get the food, Not many tables. Should be bigger., Food is on the heated counter.

Good food, but expensive - Edit
The food was good, but was not really warm. I got more cafeteria feeling than restaurant, when it comes to the food (but with restaurant prices..)

Best vegan in Oslo, still a little disappointing - Edit
A lunch place mainly, you chose what you want from the counter and all is served on the same plate. The arancini was quite good, juicy and tasteful and with a good crunch. The lasagna completely bland and like eating something mashed as it had no chewing resistance. The hummus was good, and the summer rolls. The sausage impressive as it tasted like a sausage, but not really pleasant to eat. The mushroom were bland, the spring rolls too. The chocolate cake dry.
Read moreOverall, I will give it another try, maybe the kitchen was having a bad day, but I did not leave excited to come back.
Pros: Nice location, Good arancini, friendly staff
Cons: Bland and indifferent food, Limited selection

Nothing special - Edit
I'm happy that there are a lot of restaurants/cafés where you can get vegetarian/vegan food, I really am, this place is no exception. I believe a lot of vegans are super happy that they can go somewhere and get food they can eat without asking a lot of questions whether something contains dairy and so on.
Read moreI really wanted to love this place but at the end of the day there is nothing really special about it. I kind of got the feeling that I could make everything I tried so much better myself, in a not arrogant way, really! The buddah bowl was boring and too expensive for what you received. The lasagne was just OK, but too mushy, not al dente at all. I believe they make their own lasagne sheets though so that's a big plus! The portions where too small for the price you paid. I don't really understand why plant based food often is more expensive than "regular" food containing meat, eggs and dairy. I know that Norway is hella expensive, especially the dining experience, but still. Veggie dishes should be less expensive.
I did not try any desserts this time, so that may make the place better. I will give it another go if I get the chance, just to try the desserts.
You should definitely try Nordvegan if you're craving simple, diverse vegan food at one place, but don't expect more than that.
Pros: Nice staff, A couple of dishes to choose from
Cons: Just ok food, Food don't match the price

Great desserts! - Edit
The set-up is that you select what you want from the counter and they hand you the plate. Food was enjoyable although most was nothing special, with the exception of the desserts. Their chocolate and peanut butter mousse was heavenly!

Good food, nice place - Edit
Very nice place with good food. We tryed the enchiladas with salad (btw: the have really big portions), the black forest cake and the peanut-chocolate mousse and all of it was very good. Also the hot chocolate is delicious, very thick and creamy - a bit heavy, it's almost a dessert by itself😄Definitely worth a visit 😊

Amazing vegan food and bad service - Edit
Everything we ate here was amazing tasty vegan food.
Read moreNow it seemed that they are the victim of their success.
With only 2 people serving it was way too short.
We came in the restaurant, no one of the waiters even looked at us, we had to go to the counter and on their things had to go fast.
We wanted the formula, main, salad and topping, and things went so fast that we ended up with only a main.
They however have an outside terras were the dogs are allowed.
Pros: Amazing vegan food, spot for dogs outside terras
Cons: Extremely bad service

Great placement, great restaurant - Edit
This restaurant has great food, from a buffet menu. How you order is a bit confusing as there are only 3 listed meals on the menu, which you can only see by looking behind the cashier, which makes a confusing line of people who wants to order and people who are tryng to decide what they want. You need to just tell the cashier what you want from what you can see on the buffet. I've been there three times now, and I still don't quite understand how the ordering of a full meal works, but they are helpful if you ask for help, so it works out in the end.
Read morePerhaps it's just my confused little brain, but I think they could've made the ordering system easier.
They have lunch, dinner, sides, drinks and cakes.
I would recomment ordering the lasagna.
Pros: Good food, central placement in the city, gluten free options
Cons: confusing order system, a little expensive, quite full

We came here twice, once for lunch and once for cake and coffee.
Read moreThe lunch menu is great and you can pick and mix your own curry dish or Buddha Bowl. The food is Asian style and especially the spring rolls were amazing.
We also had cake and there was a lot to choose from, the berry cake was just as good as the snickers tarte. And I can highly recommend the alcohol free passionate ginger beer.😄

Cons: A bit expensive , Ordering can take a while

Amazing - Edit
Such a nice place, nice location, nice staff, nice decorating. I had the lasagna and it. Was. Amazing. It was definitely one of the best lasagnas I've ever had, glorious! And the elder flower drink was sooo good too. I love the whole concept, with health not having to be boring, and wow. Just give it a go.

Great Food and Great People - Edit
Nordvegan is one of the first results that popped up when I searched for vegan food in the area and for good reason. Everything they had looked incredible. I had a Thai Curry with Udon noodles and my wife had the Lasagne with a salad, they also had some Arancini there that we split and it was a wonderful surprise. Everything was delicious and I would consider going back just for the arancini alone. They also have an extensive choice of toppings the customize your meal with so you can mix and match to your taste which was great. We definitely had a bit too much and unfortunately couldn't try any of the desserts but that just gives us another reason to come back the next time we're in Oslo.

Good food in a cute place - Edit
The plate with a main dish and salad was enough food for two people to share - I'd recommend that to save a bit of money! We had the potato and vegan sausage mash with a tasty quinoa salad and curried tofu. The vegan lasagna looked good, as did the desserts! The decor was really nice and the space was bright and welcoming.

Perfect mix of comfort food and health - Edit
We ordered in meals of a main, salad and topping and got a summer roll on the side. Everything was delicious. The lasagne and moussaka were cheesy and hardy mains whiles the quinoa and leaf salads were light but tasty side salads. Servings were super large. Staff were friendly and helpful.
