I like that the cats are not primarily for the business but to help the shelter with creating a nice place to adopt them. One can see the cat's individuality before they commit to adoption. I consider the prices sensible knowing how hard it is to gather the funds for animal care. There are two big walls of fame with the adopted cats photos, you can see Pelisek is very successful in their mission.

... I visit for cats and order out of politeness, since they are a BIT overpriced. Order something simple and don’t bother the cats too much is my advice.

Nice cat-cafe. You can enjoy vegan desserts (ask for them, their menu is not completely vegan) in company of very cute kitties. You can also adopt one of these kitties. I would give them 5 stars, but the app did not allow me to do.

Good atmosphere for both cats and humans - Edit
A cat cafe sounds like it could be a wonderful environment for cats, or no better than a zoo. This large cafe, luckily, is much nearer to the former, with spacious seating areas, a private area where cats can go through a cat-flap to get away from people if they wish, and guidelines for interaction on each table. The cats come from a shelter with which the cafe works to arrange sterilisations, vaccinations and adoptions within the Czech Republic, and they all appeared to by well looked after.
Read moreThe cafe is diverse with tables with plug sockets and wifi, sofas and floor cushions in between cat beds, toys and artificial trees for climbing, and a book exchange. It was quiet in the late morning and at lunchtime, but the owners said that it gets busy in the late afternoons and evenings, so it's a good idea to reserve a table.
Table service is offered and was a little slow, but the staff were polite and friendly. The sandwiches are not vegan, but there are labelled vegan cakes, plus drinks. I'll be regularly in the area later this year and already expect that a visit will become part of my routine.
