Good Coffee

Nice coffee shop with vegan sweet treat options. We had an americano with oat milk and a window seat. Would much rather give my money to these guys than the now soulless Starbucks round the corner.

Pros: Plant milk options

Tasty vegan options

Had the overnight oats with fruit and the avocado on toast for breakfast here and it was super tasty - friendly staff too. Really nice place. The oats were lush and cinnamony ❤️. Right next to the station too if you have time to kill and wanna avoid the starbucks’ of this world.

Pros: Good filling vegan options

Now in Jesmond

Can’t add a new listing that isn’t vegan, but a take away and cafe has just opened on Acorn Rd. Several vegan options clearly marked like nut roast slice and lemon cake . Dog friendly

Very handy, and very nice coffee!

Very handy for the train station. The coffee was great. We also had a cake/croissant each and those were not the best, though they were fine. You should pop in here for a coffee if you have 5 minutes at the train station!

Right by the station

Though located right by the train station, this cafe does not have a rushed, train-station like feel. They have seats and tables, and you can get coffee with plant milk and some vegan sweet and savory snacks. I had an oat cappuccino and a passionfruit loaf, and enjoyed them both.

Central Perk

Small, cozy coffee shop that is perfectly located across the road from central station. We had a bit of time to kill before our train home so stopped off for a coffee and cappuccino, which were decent. The vegan cakes on offer looked very appetising and I will be trying them out next time.

Pros: Location , Vegan options , Staff

Cons: Serves meat and dairy
