Read moreWe got the lemon ice tea and the white tea ice tea. After we've eaten we got the raspberry and the cherry lemonade just for fun.
The vegan grill plate was aubergine, zucchini, paprika and tomatoes, as well as some tofu slices, a tofu sausage and some kind of chili dip.
It was really oily so we couldn't finish it all, it still tasted good.

Best vegan option in Piran - Edit
We came here two times and tried different dishes. The Pizza was very good, friendly staff and also all options can be done vegan, why we give 5 stars.

So much to choose from. Some things available gluten free. Longer waiting times but if you bring time and good company. The food comes with different waiting times, I finished my pasta when my friend got her pizza. So that sucks. And I felt like the food didn't always have a concept. Also many things are not available from the card

Wonderful range of vegan choices (many also gluten-free). We had the tomato soup, made from tomatoes from their garden, a daily special of couscous with vegetable and herbs (light and delicious), and mushroom medley with polenta dumpling (also great). The star of the meal was the absolutely fantastic gelato - the best gelato I’ve had since becoming vegan. It was creamy and rich. We tried dark chocolate, hazelnut, chestnut, peanut butter, and lemon meringue and all were so so good. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in Piran! Also the service was great.

I wish I could give them more stars, nothing better than a veg family business... but the prices, waiting time, 2€ table setting cost and food quality are just some things that needed addressing. Grill set not worth the price, but the pizza was actually really good.

We were just stunde by all the special options that we had. We were told all the vegetables come from their own garden. We had the truffles pasta and the seafood pizza. After the pizza came we had to ask again if the food is vegan because the shrimps tasted so real. They assured us everything is vegan (made from white algae) and it was really delicious! Wie also had a scoop of ice cream afterwards, not often have we seen so many vegan options! We will definitely come back!

Amazing restaurant in Piran that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner! We went for dinner. Many options like, pasta dishes but also a grill for one or two persons which include vegan sausage, tofu and many vegetables. They also offer may differend ice cream flavours and fresh juices. The service was great and very helpfull choosing dishes and let us taste different ice cream flavours. Definitely recommend when visiting Piran!

If you are really hungry or don’t have a lot of time to spare I would not recommend this place. Unfortunately my first (and only) experience here was really bad. Came and ordered drinks and pancakes. Got the drinks maybe half an hour later and waited for pancakes for one more hour and they still haven’t arrived so we decided to leave. They could at least explain what was going on. Drinks (blueberry daiquiri and white tea with mango) were way to sweet. In the end they did not charge us for anything. Otherwise the menu and the whole offer looks nice.

I’d like to give a vegan place a better rating but hmmm. First we were a bit surprised with the ambiance which felt too chique for what it was. Told the - very kind! - waiter that we were just looking for a quick bite (didnt have much time on the parking meter) but he assured is that was okay but still took very long even though we were the only ones, making us feel kind of trapped. Half of the menu was unavailable, for the food ánd drinks. They said the pasta was fresh but I don’t think so, it was way too much salt though. Fortunately we had free tap water.

Read moreSadly I was never able to try the food as we waited 1.5 hrs for food that never arrived and with very little communication from the staff. The situation was not handled well.
The google reviews seem to say a similar story.
The table next to us ordered a vegan pizza which also very clearly was not vegan, when they questioned this they were told it was vegan.
I hope they resolve their service problems as I'd love this restaurant to do well !

Big portions of tasty food, excellent ice cream - Edit
We just had a very tasty dinner here. We were there quite late in the evening so several things on the menu weren't available. I had an excellent pasta with a pistachio sauce, my partner had pizza, and we shared a big salad. Was easy to get everything vegan. The portions are big. The ice cream is excellent. They gave us samples of lots of flavours before we chose. They were all delicious and had a lovely texture. The guy who served us was very nice too.

Fantastic family run restaurant with a brilliant selection of homemade ice cream. We had dinner and breakfast here. The whole vibe of the place is quite retro kitsch. Our soup arrived in a tureen, all the glasses and cutlery felt old school. While the food is not fantastic or anything, it's good, hearty food and there's a whole tray of condiments to add extra spice and flavour to taste. And it's fantastic to find such a unique, entirely veggie place in such a small, beautiful town. And pretty much everything can be made vegan - strongly recommend a visit to Piran and to here.

In Piran it can be hard too find a vegetarian or even vegan option. So this restaurant saved us from eating french fries for days.

Very tasty vegan cheese! The rind had a strongish flavor of real cheese and it was delicious. Haven’t had cheese in years but I can say I thought it tasted authentic. If you don’t like the taste of strongish cheese (it wasn’t overwhelming though), maybe avoid this dish.

The servers and the owners family were super friendly and welcoming. It feels like such a warm, cozy place. Food (and drinks) were amazing. Very recommended for all vegetarians/vegans in the area!

Originally visited the restaurant as we both fancied pizzas but the oven was broken, so we ordered the sharing grill platter for two. There were plenty of peppers, onions etc. on the platter, but the whole meal was flavorless and very oily. The tofu had not been marinated or seasoned.

Greasy food, unfriendly staff - Edit
So we went there once during lunch where the waiters have been incredibly unfriendly. They just ignored us away until we left. Then in the evening we wanted to give it another shot. I think the pasta of my friends was alright but the vegan grilled plate was seriously so greasy, so oily that I couldn’t finish it since I was so disgusted by the end. If you go, try something different.
