Love Pong’s! - Edit
Love coming here. Not a huge selection of vegan food but just ask! Very accommodating and super cheap. The food I had pictured; Mushroom Panang Curry with rice, tofu satay and a soft drink cost the princely sum of £3.64. The food is delicious and serviced quickly. It’s not a fancy place but it’s quick, easy and the people who run it are lovely. Great for those on a budget. Personally I go for the food and service.

I went in today and it was empty but I'm used to that with places that are amazing at adapting Thai dishes to be vegan.
Read moreI ordered a massaman curry which is pretty much my regular dish all over Thailand. I've never had it served like this. The owner tried to explain that it's how they make it but it just looked like cat sick on tofu to me.
I didn't eat it. Paid and left. Won't go back.
I don't know what the rest of their dishes looked like so I'd say try it at your own risk. I'm out 120 baht for a dish I didn't have a hope of eating.
(I gave 3 stars for the owners but the food honestly was 1 star.)

We had a pretty good meal at Pong Cuisine. We opted for 2 curries with rice and satay tofu.

Not too expensive, and there were different options on offer from a dedicated vegan menu on offer.
Another viable option for veg food in Lamai.
The portions could have been a bit bigger.
