Sunday Buffet

I went for the Sunday Gujarati thali and this place is very vegan friendly. I asked what was without cow’s milk (the nice thing about Indian veg places is that you don’t have to worry about eggs) and they were kind enough to patiently walk me through what I could eat and couldn’t eat. Most of the items were vegan and except one lentil dish and dessert. The chapati can be made without ghee upon request. The price was 995 shillings which is reasonable.
Very friendly owners and waitstaff!

Pros: Vegan-friendly , Nice waitstaff and owners, Affordable price

Cons: Location in a hospital

Nice Casual Lunch Spot

Food was tasty and has a very authentic feel. Owner was a nice Indian chap who was keen to find out more about us .

Be aware this small casual spot situated in hospital grounds is suitable for a quick bite to eat not a formal meal out .

Pros: Great Tasting Food, Friendly owner

Cons: Venue maybe doesn’t do justice for food - minor

The Best Pure Veg Fast Food In Nairobi!

Hello,
We ate here three times a few months ago and were amazed at the quality of food that was served. The first day we had "Maru na Bhajia", which is a simple and traditional dish made with sliced potatoes dipped in a spiced chickpea flour batter and deep-fried. It's served with a couple different types of chutneys. The taste is fantastic and they're vegan too. On another visit a couple people in our group had samosas and pizza. The third visit we had "masala dosas" and "uttapam", which are vegan South Indian dishes. The fresh juices are great too. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant is clean too. It may be a little hard to find, since it is not located on a street. It is connected to the M.P. Shah Hospital, and most people in Nairobi can give you directions there if you get lost. Also, there's safe parking in the hospital parking lot.
Enjoy!

Well informed staff and nice food

Riyas Delicious Corner is a cosy small all vegetarian restaurant. The owner was well informed concerning vegan food and was happy to confirm the vegan options.

The food itself was tasty and I'd like to make another visit, however the location is slightly inconvenient due to being situated inside the hospital plaza. For takeout this is not a problem though.

Pros: Friendly and well informed staff, Vegan Options

Cons: Location
