Part of the Toon - Edit
Sachins has been a city centre institution for as long as I can remember.
Read moreStaff are professional and attentive, whilst interior is stylish but very welcoming. The menu is also clearly labelled, but quite limited in my opinion, with most dishes quite dry.
On my most recent visit I had the onion pakora and aloo ghobi, with mushroom pilau rice and chappati, all of which were flavourful and well spiced, but not exceptional.

The Little Master - Edit
I used to go to Sachins a lot back in the late 90s and early 2000s when it was a very special place to eat out in. I most recently visited in late 2021 where the same magic wasn’t happening for me. After pickles and popadoms I had their two vegan mains as sides. The Kabli Channa chick pea dish and the Daal Makhani lentil dish. Both OK but nothing to make me want to go back. The interior is very nice and staff are friendly and super professional. I suspected it would eventually end up on Happy Cow eventually as just about anywhere does these days but this would not be my doing.
