Vegan + Vietnamese = Love - Edit
They have a really large selection of dishes, so it wasn't easy to find the best option. But my noodles in Curry were the perfect mix of spicy and just deliciously yummy.

I dunno, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, or maybe this place really is rather mediocre. I mean, it wasn‘t bad, just… slightly below average? I had the lunchtime offer 13 (noodles with salad and spring rolls), green ice tea, the crème brulée and vietnamese coffee. Positive things first, the dessert and coffee were great. The hot and sour soup that came with the lunchtime offer tasted, I am sorry to say, like storebought sauce. The main dish was a generous amount with two large and crispy spring rolls. The filling was meaty-mushroomy, I prefer vegetable filling, but that is a matter of taste. The salad was dominated by rocket salad (I should have taken it out before mixing…) and the dressing was nothing to write home about. The ice tea was tasty but more ice than tea, far too expensive for the amount. All in all as I said it wasn‘t bad, but I have had far better vietnamese vegan food.

Erster Besuch beim Soy - Edit
Soy wurde mir von mehreren Münchener, die keine Veganer sind, empfohlen. Da dacht ich als Veganer, dass ich da definitiv mal hingehen muss. Das tat ich auch gestern und war sehr zufrieden. Ich habe mir die Nr. 33 (Mien Xao) bestellt. Das Gericht war sehr lecker (8/10 Punkten). Eine Hauptspeise habe ich dort noch auf der Agenda, daher werde ich das Restaurant noch einmal besuchen. Ansonsten kann Soy empfehlen. Eine Info habe ich noch: Ein Freund von mir hat das "Rindfleischimitat" bestellt und fand es furchtbar und konnte es nicht essen. Ein weiterer Freund hat etwas davon probiert und war derselben Meinung.

Das Essen schmeckt immer mega lecker! Es gibt eine große Auswahl und alles ist vegan. Am besten sind die Reistafelsets für zwei Personen (besteht aus einer Suppe, zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Hauptgerichten), weil man da verschiedene Gerichte probieren kann.

My friend saw the photo of our soup and said she could easily imagine the taste just by looking at it - such a warming and flavorful lemongrass coconut broth! So delicious. The fried tofu vermicelli was also very good.

I had the red curry with tofu and seitan which was a bit spicy (I'm weak when it comes to spices) but delicious. Ordered a mojito and shared the fried dumplings with some friends. Everything was great!

Unschlagbares Mittagsmenü - Edit
Wenn man unter der Woche Zeit hat hier zu Mittag zu essen, sollte man das auf jeden Fall machen. Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Getränk für wenig Geld und extrem lecker. Aber auch außerhalb dieses Angebots lohnt sich ein Besuch. Schönes Ambiente und viel Auswahl.

Read moreDas Essen war enorm gut. Man wird sehr gehetzt um schnell wieder draußen zu sein, und die Räumlichkeiten sind stark vernachlässigt worden.
Wir hatten das Reistafeln Set 1:
Canh Chua, Goi Xoai, Dau Sot Hanh, Cha la Lot, Cari Tofu.
Dazu die Getränke Zen Garden und ein Cocktail und ein Tee.
Die Nachspeißen waren auch fantastisch: Chuoi dua (Banane mit Klebreis), Banh Kem Dua (Bruleé aus Vanille)
Man sollte unbedingt reservieren. Das würde ich auch eher über das Telefon empfehlen. Dann bekommt man auch ein Tisch, obwohl laut Internetseite alles ausgebucht ist.
Das essen ist auf sehr hohen Niveau konstant extrem gut! Es ist Raffiniert, üppig, vielfältig und hat von beginn bis ende Spaß gemacht.
Das Restaurant ist sehr laut und voll. Ein wenig wird mir Zwischenwänden gearbeitet, was das ganze erträglich macht.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Wir hatten ein 2 Gängemenü, und wurden sehr gehetzt. Der Zweite Gang kam, als wir uns noch das letzte Essen vom 1. Gang auf die Teller verteilt haben. Und der zweite Gang wurde auch sehr früh abgeräumt.
Unsere Bestellung bestand aus 5 Gerichten, von denen einmal 3, das andere mal 2 auf einmal gebracht wurden. Für einen schönen Abend hätte ich mir die Gerichte einzeln gewünscht. Oder zumindest auf 3 Etappen, da so auch warme Speise kalt wurde.
Und leider wird auch hier (wie so gut wie überall) die Einrichtung nicht gepflegt. Stromkabel hängen queer über die Wand, die sonst mit netten Leuchten schön wäre. Glühbirnen sind vereinzelt defekt. Es ist sehr dunkel, das die Deckenleuchten mit Bunter Folie überklebt wurden. Das wurde jedoch beachtlich stümperhaft getan. So hängt teils überschüssige Folie einfach von der Decke herunter, oder die Folie bedeckt nicht die ganze Glühbirne.
Ich kann mir nur Betriebsblindheit vorstellen, denn das sieht teilweise schon schäbig aus.
Aber das essen war einfach der Hammer.

Sehr sehr gutes vietnamesisches Restaurant. Die Vorspeisen (insbesondere die Sommerrollen) sind sehr zu empfehlen. Sowohl die Pho als auch die anderen Nudelgerichte sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Portionen sind groß und der Service schnell, zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Some of the best (vegan) Vietnamese food you can find! Lots of standard Vietnamese dishes on the menu, but also some very special ones. We were impressed by Kho To which had an amazing sauce and unique umami flavor. Even better was the Cha Ca since it’s such a unique and flavorful dish. The sauce was to die for. Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is quaint and chill. Can confidently recommend this place 🌱

It is really cool that there is a specifically vegan Vietnamese place! But honestly it’s so easy to be vegan when you go out to Vietnamese food anyway that most if the items on the menu are pretty standard. It was quite good, but like I said you could get the same quality food anywhere really (and for much cheaper)

Ganz gut geschmeckt - Edit
I got the udon noodle dish, which came with a summer roll. The peanut sauce was sooo good. The tofu was perfectly cooked and the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy. Just a little bit but I never had to stop eating to stop the burning lol. The veggies were cooked just right. I’m sad I’m leaving Munich because I would definitely come back here.
