'Yiros' Combo lamb and chikn, PB protein, house made tzatziki, red onion, parsley and hot chips wrapped in authentic toasted pita and lettuce.
This imitation gyro's, was incredible, I ordered it twice during my short weekend in Adelaide for fringe festival March 2026.
The service was fast and efficient and this store was more popular than I expected for somewhere with the word "vegan" on the sign. "You know how people can get 🤷.
This is an awesome sign for the future.

Fully vegan Greek takeaway place. Delicious mock meats and falafel is that doesn’t take your fancy. We had the combo AB and the falafel yiros. Highly recommend checking this place out.

I don't know what I'd do without Staazi, I could rave about them for too long but I'll try to be concise here. The mock meat is mind-blowing, lamb is my fav. The yiros are perfect, especially after a drink at one of the nearby pubs. The open plate and AB are delicious and filling enough for dinner or to share with a friend if you aren't too hungry. The fries are seasoned incredibly well and are best paired with the slaw on the loaded fries. Make sure you get a sweet treat for dessert as well, the wagon wheels and baklava are great.

Yummy food doesn’t have to cost a life! - Edit
Meat eater have often complained that veg options are never that good! Well, they need to try Staazi! I had their Lam Yiros and it was so goooood, mwah. It was pretty filling for me by the time I got to the end of it, though it started of easy.

Everything was so flavourful and authentic. The bread was perfectly cooked, not heavy at all, the meat was flavoured beautiful and for me the tzatziki was chefs kiss 😘 I virtually inhaled it I was so excited so I need to go back and experience it again and take my time to show my appreciation this yiros deserves. It’s a generous portion, so suggest you make sure and get the meloma-karona and a wagon wheel to go. There were a few non vegans eating there too, it’s definitely a place your Omni friends would enjoy. Staff are super friendly in the shop is really cute and a nice area with lots of outdoor seating on the main street or in quiet side street.

I had the combo gyro (lamb and chicken i believe). It was flavourful, filling, and tastes no different than what i remember animals do. I love that it’s a fully vegan place so i don’t have to worry about making sure all ingredients are cruelty-free. I definitely recommend this place.

Got the lamb yiros and a side of chips. Struggled to finish it. The lamb was really tasty particularly as I don’t go out of my way to find meat substitutes. The tzatziki was a fantastic complement to the meal. Couldn’t fault it. May need to go back for another meal to try other choices before we fly home

My combo open plate was prepared quickly, and it was very good. The two types of plant-meat shreds came with tzatziki, salad and pieces of grilled pita bread. There are also treats! I bought one of each, all great: Greek cookie, baklava and wagon wheel. Yum.
