Nice cozy little eatery with books to read, although mostly Korean ones. It’s a very quiet place for chilling, reading etc. Food is good!

I love Cafe Sun! I've had most things on the menu, and everything I've tried so far has been sooooo good! There's only one woman who works there and she makes the food right there (nothing is premade but the ingredients are ready), so the food can take a little longer to prepare (My longest wait was 20 minutes for 3 different items, but it was worth it). The food looks like a medium or maybe small portion, but it's all so filling because the ingredients are so high quality. The price is also on the lower end. The woman that works there is vegan, and as a vegan it comforts me to know that the chef isn't going to sneak anything in, on purpose or from lack of knowledge. It's not open for very long, and not on Mondays. If it was open for longer then I'd probably eat here a lot more. Make sure to check the hours before going. The woman seems to be intimidated by English, so if you can speak Korean I recommend making the effort. If you can't, then I recommend using the Papago translation app (and don't forget to turn on the honorific option! And keep it on so that you don't offend anyone.)

The restaurant was really cozy with some relaxing music. The food was really delicious and healthy. Lots of whole wheat pasta, bread etc. which I love! I ordered the chickpea organic whole wheat penne pasta with tomato sause, and it was so flavourful and delicious😋👍

This place has such a homey atmosphere and the food is delicious! I had the soy milk, brown rice tteokguk with Chinese flower bread and hot cocoa. Came with radish kimchi and everything was so good. The soup was creamy and the cocoa was Rich. I’d definitely recommend this to any solo travellers looking for a nice place to rest for an hour or so. #Veganuary

This place has been open for long time but was mostly closed or take only during most of Covid. They are seating customers again so I needed to try.

It is a very small Cafe with not many dishes to choose from. I ate the mushrooms spaghetti twice now and they were always delicious, I would order them again. The waffle and the smoothie were good too. I like that it is an open kitchen but the lady is not the friendliest. She is not particularly rude but also not very friendly. Just kind of there. The Cafe also sells some vegan groceries (ramen, soy milk,...)

This cafe has great, made to order food. It’s simple, healthy, and delicious. I’ve had the veggie stew and rice cake soup and was pleased with both! They also have a few vegan grocery items for sale in the restaurant.

We came to Sun in a group of three and the owner told us only groups of two were allowed. What / why?? We stood around waiting and said one of us would sit on our own and after 5 minutes, the woman eventually allowed it. She was so utterly rude to us the entire time. These kinds of vegan restaurants are really upsetting — they don’t present veganism as a welcoming, joyous experience but rather an exclusive and unwelcoming one. The food was basic, home cooking, certainly not worth interacting with the owner for. Avoid!

Small cafe with good quality. Spotlessly clean and tidy, friendly service and English menu. I had the vegetable stew which is like a lovely rich soup with brown rice and pickles. The waffle was also delicious and pretty satisfying.
